The hotel is in the centre surrounded by bars and night clubs. Loud music keeps you awake until 2 in the morning, it’s horrendous. It is like trying to sleep at a pop concert.

Very good location, very nice staff, but really loud street so make sure your room is at the back of the hotel. Really good street to go out/eat. Very loud music! Also, unusable pool as really dirty. Average breakfast, a shame for a country with such amazing food culture.

Great location - everything is nearby. Friendly staff. You cannot drive up to the hotel - it is on a cobblestone street. Weak AC - was quite humid/stuffy everywhere in the hotel. Very small pool on the rooftop and the bar closes at 11pm.. Breakfast very basic. Soft/old mattress and tired furniture. Overpriced hotel in my opinion.

Good value hotel in a great central location to explore Beirut. I would use it again but there were a few down points. The breakfast room is a little gloomy and the choice gets a little boring by the third day. When we were there, May 2019, the rooftop pool and bar area which look great in the photos were closed for repair. Works didn’t advance during our stay so this may not reopen soon. The bars in the street are noisy after 22:00 especially at the weekend. We were on the 5th floor and a light sleeper would certainly be kept awake! Bonus point for our room was a large outside patio around 2 sides of the hotel, great for views of the city.

Couldn't connect to wifi for one day. Had to remind them multiple time to fix it. In general the hotel is OK but doesn't feel like what a 5 star should look like to me. Great great location though

When we booked through Expedia, the total was $160 per night. We entered our credit card info, and received an email that said ‘the Total payment was collected by the hotel.’ On the last day of our stay, we went to check out, and I’ll spare you the details of the stay), we were told we needed to provide payment for $210.25 per night. It was 3am, and our cab was waiting to take us to the airport. We told the concierge that we already paid, and that we could NOT miss our flight (OR stay another day in that hotel or city). He said that he would call the police if we tried leaving without payment. Again, as far as Expedia told us, we had already paid in full. The trip was so awful, and having the hotel staff that we couldn’t leave until we came up with over 2,000?!?! I did not have the cc with me that I used to book the stay. We were forced to make phone calls etc to come up with the payment in order to make our flight. This is the point: when I booked through Expedia, it was advertised as $160 per night. When we were checking out of the hotel, it was suddenly WELL OVER $200 per night. False advertising, and a terrible experience.

I booked through Expedia for 4 persons (2 Adults and 2 children) I put the exact ages of children as Expedia rules, then Expedia showed me the offers, and I choose one, (and it was written: room sleeps 4 guests), and paid as nonrefundable. But the hotel enforced me to pay more as 2 extra beds! Even the General Manager refused to let me at least had 1 extra bed and pay for 1 only, he enforces me to take 2 and pay for 2, even that I already booked and payed as your offer (for 4 persons) ! and he said: solve your problem with Expedia! So either the management of the hotel is not honest at all and took advantage of me or Expedia is not reliable because I called you and sent you many emails to fix the problem but you didn't! Your offers are your responsibility! You can't put your customers in this trap!

nice hotel in the great location. hotel service was amazing. From checkin to checkout, the staff were always available to assist with any request including bookings etc. Bed was a little uncomfortable as it has a plastic mattress protector but the hotel staff were very attentive to help change it. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in a perfect location in Beirut.

A great location, but then the pool was closed for the duration of our visit. The staff said that this was due to a sandstorm, but the sandstorm had finished before we arrived. We stayed for two days and they did not bother to clean it and re-open it, until there was a private function when we were leaving. Each time we asked about it, they made us feel like we were being rude to even ask. Also, the wifi signal was very weak in our room and very slow.
