Service was very good as they'd go over and beyond for you Room was nice Food was ok but slightly slow service Tamara was lovely and Samia also welcomed us nicely. There was a noise is bedroom like a boiler which made it difficult to sleep I don't think I slept more than 2 hrs, the whole time I was there Unfortunately, there were also a lot of mosquitos in the room which is where I got most of my bites - I think they sprayed the room but it didn't work. Vapes would have been great. The pool was not attractive to enter Bath tub not tight enought to hold the water in unfortunately Bonus was the umbrellas, beach towels and beach bag.. and they accept Amex! Great location as right on the beach and restaurants nearby They also let us check-out a little later than the official time which was so nice of them Value for money for Seychelles was great. Value for money overall (worldwide) was pretty expensive.

A lovely boutique hotel, that is a refreshing hideaway compared to all of the large resorts in the Seychelles. The individual style of the rooms is eclectic and they are very generous in size. Breakfast is also worth a mention, as they have a lovely a la carte menu each morning. Yes there is seaweed on the beach BUT you pretty much have the perfect coastline to yourself all day, with an amazing sunset and great water for swimming. However the best things about this hotel is the staff, especially the GM Rene, who takes time to get to know you, check everything is ok and make guests feel most welcome. We would definitely recommend this for couples looking for some privacy and peace!

Our over all stay at Dhevatara Hotel was very pleasant. Prior to our arrival the hotel made it very clear that it will be sea weed season both in their advertising and in an email. A shuttle service was available. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly, they arranged pick up and drop off from the jetty and airport for us at short notice as well as car hire. Breakfast was truly delicious, particularly the muesli and the passion fruit juice! The food over all was very good and very beautifully presented. The layout of the hotel is also very unique and stylish, however may need a little bit of refurbishing. The beach was beautiful despite the sea weed. Overall a great experience.

Lovely Boutique Hotel with individual cabins, we had the Peroke cabin. What can I say. it was pure luxury being a stone throw away from the beach. Great team to cater for your every needs. If it rains in Seychelles like it did for us you will get bored and get bitten by Sand flies. Overall nice place to stay and fraction of the price of Raffles and

Excellent hotel. Pity that the surroundings do not match the excellence of the property. Good, but they do not rise to the excellence of the facilities.

We stayed at the Dhevatara beach hotel for 5 nights. From the time me and my wife checked in, we were made to feel at home. The staff was extremely helpful, prompt and efficient. They left no stone unturned to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Rene Squires the manager was always available on the property and he would go around talking to the guests, asking them if there was anything else they needed. We liked this personal touch and you could tell that he is really passionate about his work. The breakfast was outstanding, from the freshly baked pastries and croissants to the omelettes and amazingly fresh fruit platter to the crepes and pancakes,it was the perfect way to start a day. We had dinner at the hotel's signature restaurant a couple of times and it was delicious. The hotel also provided transfer to and from the ferry terminal as well as everyday to the east side of the island free of charge which was very helpful. Aneel at the reception desk was extremely helpful with making restaurant reservations in Cote d'or as well as arranging for a day trip to the other islands. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

I am really disappointed as a person who trust and follow recommendations of Expedia that this hotel is rated 5 star the beach is full of weed and they informed me that Expedia are informed the swimming pool is joke and when I told them to cancel the refused to refund I had to go another hotel that I still booked through Expedia but really I should have got my money back

Dhevatara was a dream come true for our Honeymoon, private, intimate, and secluded. The staff was wonderful, the room beautiful, the food was very good as well (and I'm picky)! It's a really Romantic spot!! We needed to rent a car to get to the nice beaches on the Island, but the rental car guy, and the car came straight to us at the hotel so it was super easy!

Lovely little hotel with very friendly staff. Food was nice and reasonable given the average prices on the island. Room was comfortable and hotel comprises of 10 'suites' so quiet and relaxing. Only real negative is the location - easy to get to/from the airport but beautiful beaches are found mostly on the other side of the island. Beach here is windswept and not good for snorkeling or swimming.

What a lovely place to stay. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Comfortable rooms with wonderful toiletries....L' Occitane, coffee/tea making facilities, welcome fruit and delicious cookies, bottle water, basket to carry beach/ pool ware, beach towels. The pool was very clean and inviting, lovely gardens and lots of beach loungers. The beach is just stunning with crystal clear water. Breakfast was to die and go to heaven...even sparkling wine is available and complimentary. The staff was very accommodating and the manager, Renee, is always available. Welcome and farewell drinks are offered . We had dinner at the hotel, every evening and they were all excellent. Their prices are comparable to the nearby restaurants and served in a nicer environment. Special thanks to Dominique, Maria and Gretchen. This is the best place to stay in Praslin. Lovely, lovely boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

This is true luxury as remote as can be. This being said, you can have full satellite television and perfect WiFi if you do not choose to completely power down from reality. Just know that this is very small. You will get to know the other guests and the hotel staff and they will get to know you. There is no anonymity. The food is fresh and creative, but you will want to travel out quickly as the food and drink menu might get boring on a longer stay.

I loved everything about this hotel, except for the location and the pool. Location because it is far from the nice/happening places and the pool is just poorly designed. Staff are super helpful, rooms are comfortable and the view of the ocean from the garden is great. You will LOVE the breakfast here. If you are visiting Seychelles make sure you ask the staff about the French restaurant, Cafe Des Arts .

What a naturally beautiful hotel. This is the second 5star resort we have stayed in on Praslin island. If you want modern contemporary beige furniture go to Raffles, however, if you want a boutique style hotel with a Seychellois feel you can't go wrong booking the Dhevatara. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was the best I've ever eaten. If you are offered the half board basis, take it.It's better value. For 6 courses and a glass of wine it's 600rupees approx.£60.00pp when paying in resort. They also offer a la carte but this works out slightly more expensive for fewer courses. The hotel only has 10 rooms positioned around a beautiful natural swimming pool.At night the pool area is lit up and it looks stunningly beautiful. The music in the bar area/restaurant is very relaxing and matches this peaceful relaxing resort.Well done to Manager Rene and the team at Dhevatara Beach. You've got it just right.
