Amazing stay!! Very reasonably priced and it very convenient everything was walking distance.

The property is an old style looking building so it’s perfect if you are looking for the full Madrid ambience experience. The rooms are very small and rustic. But they are very clean and they make the best to make it as lovely as possible. I loved the balcony over looking the street. It was perfect for the experience. The breakfast is in a small building next door. I recommend going for breakfast between 7:30 and 8:30. It’s the only time when it’s peaceful. Otherwise you might have to wait in line outside. Overall I have no complains. The location is perfect, the service was great, the rooms were as described and everything worked without a problem. Reception is on the second floor. So don’t get scared when you get there and there is just a close door. Press the intercom and they will let you in.

As a hostal everything is 80% good, but the personal help you in everything, very good breakfast, excelent location!!! Just some inconvenients like the air conditions are so old that didn't work and we have to change the room 🙄

Loved the area, very walkable and well located minutes from plaza Mayor. Great breakfast and accommodating staff, we were able to check in before time as our room was ready early and leave luggage after checkout. Would definitely stay again.

Excelente ubicación, excelente desayuno que vale la pena tomarlo es maravilloso y mejor que cualquiera de otras cadenas de renombre, la ubicación es excelente pues aprovechas los buses gratuitos 001 y 002, además todo te queda a la mano, ellos son amables y te guardan el equipaje si lo necesitas

Great location, nearby metro stops. Friendly staff that stored our bags as we arrived well before check-in time. Room was very comfortable, loads of restaurants within short walking distance. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Overall, I do agree with the hotel rating of 3 stars. The location of the hotel was impeccable, it was nearby all of the attractions and subway stations. But, the walls were paper thin, you could hear people showering, flushing the toilet, and my boyfriend said he could even hear someone sneezing. Also, our AC was continuously on low and we would literally sweat through our sheets. When we asked staff to check, they seemed disinterested and said that there is nothing they can do and the AC is working and “it is just this way in the summer.” Breakfast was average, but come early so you even get anything decent.

Although rated 3 stars, this is closer to a 2.5 star hotel. However, it is convenient, clean, central and, while not luxurious, perfectly acceptable for a stay in Madrid. One thing to note: the elevator is subject to breakdowns. If you’re absolutely dependent on an elevator, take that into consideration.
