Safe, quieter location with room facing back. No lift. Excellent location to sights and food. About 15 min walk to bus station but further from train station. Check in staff elsewhere - 1/2 block away. Direct drop off door by taxi . In room mini bar and safe, coffee and tea .AC. Large window that opens

The property was nicely decorated and within walking distance of the major attractions in Siena. Not sure if it is an Italian thing, but, the ones we have stayed at don’t provide soap for showering. Only downside, and that is not too important.

Very convenient to the main attractions. Breakfast is served at the bar, so it’s probably cheaper to buy directly than from the B&B

We really like this property but would recommend there should instructions that you need to go up the stairs to the B&B. Overall very good

What a sweet spot in the heart of Siena. Just steps away from the Duomo and wonderful restaurants. Our room was comfortable and quiet with character and a peek view. We were able to store our bags and staff called us a cab for the train station. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

On November 25, 2018 we had 2 night stay reservations, round trip Trenitalia train tickets, and tour tickets to visit the Cathedral in Siena, Italy. The trains were on strike and we could not make the trip to Siena. Then I called the hotel directly to advise them of our dilemma and told him we could not travel to Siena today. He was very rude, he laughed out loud at me, while on the phone, when I told him we needed to cancel our reservation. He told me that was impossible, and he laughed out at me again. I asked his name. He told me that was “not important.” I told him I would be filing a “denuncia”. I told him not to laugh at me. He told me I could take a bus. We were at the train station, it was pouring. I did not know how or where to get a bus. Signor “Not Important” hung up on me. For your information, I used one free night to book this reservation for 2 nights at “Quattro Contoni (5202051). I haven’t lost a lot of money, but Quattro Contoni has lost all of my respect for their rude behavior. I will never try to book with this hotel again. I am also very disappointed with the UK. Hotels.Com email that gives me phone numbers without a country code leaving me in the dark as to which UK country I should call.

Do not book this property!! We arrived there no one answers the bell or phone and not even the “emergency” phone number. We found ourselves outside of a run down building with no where to go and no one to help us. After a while we left while trying to find a place to sleep sitting in a middle of a highway. The owner is rude and didn’t even apologize for what has happened. We asked for the property to be removed from the Expedia website. It was that bad!

Easy check-in, comfy bed and quaint room right in the centre of Siena. Excellent pre-arrival care too. A great stay!

The B&B is very well located and the room has more amenities then you would expect in a B&B. I was surprised with all information (about the city, restaurants, parking, etc) that was already in my room when I arrived at the hotel. The only downsize for this property is the stairs that you have to climb with your luggage.

We were quite surprised to find out that all the interaction with hotel staff is made remotely. This meant that we met with no hotel staff except the very polite cleaner. To our amazement, we had a very enjoyable stay as everything was organised for us when we arrived. The room was spacious and amenities functioned very well. Breakfast was held in the cafe nearby and the staff there were friendly and welcoming. It is also located near Piazza Di Campo and the best gelataria in Siena is just few doors away. I will definitely consider staying here if I visited Siena again.

Communication from this hotel is by far the best we had on our whole trip. They gave us emails confirming our reservation immediately with all the instructions on how to find and access the property. They speak English very well and are welcoming and relaxed. The property is charming with vaulted ceilings, and provides all the modern comforts with the medieval flavor unique to Siena. They let us store our bags after checkout and also use their bathroom! These guys are really building a good reputation and we would happily stay with them again.

3 flights of stairs to room no elebators. Not for older people.

Room got really hot and heat would not adjust. Also very loud

No coffee in-room. No staff on sight ever. Be careful to be sure your rate includes breakfast. I thought by definition a B&B included B&B, but they told us breakfast was 12€ extra per day. When we went to the office (at another location) to ask about busses, we were told to go to the bus station. Apparently management changed, so the rave reviews of Alejandro are moot :(

Charming small B&B. Owner is very helpful on the area. Can walk everywhere in Siena -- perfect location.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! It was a little hard to find as the only sign is a small label on the doorbell, but the facilities and location could not have been better! The proprietor, Alberto, was very friendly and helpful and prepared a great spread for breakfast every morning.
