Excellent location and ammenities in these modern apartments with friendly, accommodating staff. Definitely will consider this hotel on my return visit

We stayed in an apartment. It was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed using the spa and sauna! The breakfast was really good too. We will be back!

Staff at the front desk were a bit vague. Wanted $50 per night for car parking, but looked like no parks on site and car would be taken somewhere by someone. Room was very stuffy. Finally found the air conditioning was isolated in the switchboard and got it going.

Amazing location, amazing room and view, so close to any eateries that you want to try, very close to viaduct walkway, hotel aesthetic inside is so unique we loved it and the staff were so very kind, we will look forward to our next stay here.

Great Stay

Great location. Old but tidy. Easy check in.

Great location and great for families. Rooms are a bit tired and we had a couple of issues with dish drawer getting stuck, washing machine not working and not very hot water. However reception were responsive and had these issues fixed quickly for us. The Hippopotamus restaurant is gorgeous and great for a night cap!

Loved the art work from museum and decor beautiful hotel.

The museum hotel was so beautiful! Every section a work of art. The ambiance and food were fabulous. My only issue was that my double room had two twin beds pushed together, which ended up actually being more firm and comfy than the other bedroom with a normal bed, which was too soft. Great service and friendly staff. The indoor pool and sauna were also a real treat. Would return!

Good location in Wellington. We stayed in museum apartment room. However the rooms are tired, chipped and old, shower had broken attachment. there is no double glazing and noise from traffic was terrible. Bed/mattress was old, bouncy and no topper, uncomfortable night sleep. No coffee maker which is unusual at this price. No robe etc. pool is ok but hot tub was cold. Staff on check in unfortunately not welcoming … basic level of service. This hotel has gone downhill in past 10 years and needs updates if it wants to stay competitive. We would not choose to book again since much better available elsewhere .

Art was pretty cool

The bathtub was not clean. Sauna was not opened. I was looking for staying there because of the sauna and bathtub at the hotel. However the sauna was not opened and the bathtub was not clean I was really disappointed. Glass cup also looked dirty too. I stayed the king bedroom. The location was really good. The room was partial ocean view and big enough looked really nice.

Wouldn’t stay at the property again. Staff was not helpful, room is very run down, the tv had 4 channels that barely work spoke to the staff and they told me was nothing they could do. The room facilities does not meet the qualmark start rating. Doesn’t worth the money I paid.

As a family we loved the art in the foyer and that it was right across the road from Te Papa. The beds were comfortable. Our only negative was that the shower floods through the bathroom and the tv is outdated with only having access to sky. It was great having a washer/dryer

Excellent central location

Stayed a couple of nights to meet up with friends who had booked into here. A realy lovely hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Love the ambience and the artwork. We were upgraded to a suite, which was great. Will stay again for sure.
