The property was easy to find. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness and hospitality. The room was spacious snd the bstgroom was very nice.

Great location, amazing breakfast, clean room and bathroom. Room a bit snug for 3 people, but most of the trip was spent outside, so it did not matter. Very comfortable beds.

Expedia says that "This Recife hotel also offers multilingual staff" - Hardly you will have a way to resolve things in a language other than PORTUGUESE. There was a problem, they said they don't find my reservation, so I had to call Expedia and the Expedia Agent even had a hard time to help them find my reservation. "and room service" - There is NO room service (note that even on their own website said that there is and the manager yelled at me, that there is no and that I shall be looking better on their website... until I showed her the TRUTH. Next day it was removed from THEIR websites, but continue here. "Porter/bellhop" - Don't expect to see one of them here. "Minibar" - Empty When I made my reservation on Expedia it said there even that they have a "ROOFTOP TERRACE" which never existed at this location and "AIRPORT TRANSFER" should be "FREE". The good thing is that the WIFI Internet is quite reliable. The only negative point with it is that you have to log in several times a day and it might interrupt you from writing your email without any warning.

Imagine the hardest material in the world... then think of it being used to fill this hotels mattresses.There was constant building work while I was there, and not just in the hotel but all around it....and the Brazilians like to start early,with no real regard for guests or what time they may have got in the night before... Also,in this area, every apartment building is fitted with electronic security gates which will bleep very loudly when opening..Why don't I close the window,I hear you say.?...not a hope.. Night temps are still in high 20s to low 30s and although the rooms all have air con,mine seems to have been stuck at North Pole setting,so no happy medium... They make a big thing about there wi fi being free 24/7....well I know my maths is a bit rusty,but it's only on between 0630 and 2230....sure that's not 24.!!!..to be fair though when it was on it was pretty quick. There 24hr mini bar consists of a Coke machine in the lobby.They will also charge you 100 Reals( £20 ish) if they suspect you of having a crafty cigarette in your room...Breakfast consists of some..er...fruit.. Thats sums up breakfast then.. All in all,if you have to come to Recife, try to save a few more pounds and book something better... Did I forget to mention the nightlife..?... No,because there isn't any( that's nor the hotels fault though)... Finally, people speaking English here are virtually non existent... Try to brush up your Portuguese before you go... I'll start you off..Cuervaja = beer...

I had to stay in this hotel because my friend and I got stranded in Recife after flooding and TAM Airlines did nothing for us. It is a safe hotel with nothing too spectacular. It has everything you need to get some sleep and be safe in a city that is a little sketch. Go to the restaurant across the street and a BBQ option. It is one of the best steaks I have ever had.

This is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for". It is a perfectly adequate place to spend a night or two. Clean, with comfortable beds, good wifi (despite other reviews- although you do have to keep logging in every time your phone goes to sleep), and all the facilities you would expect for this price range. Staff were cheerful and helpful, with some English. Breakfast was a fairly good spread of cereals, fruit, patisserie, cheese and ham, with reasonable coffee.

Its a good place for a short vacations,the people its very kind. You have everithyng around,restaurants,beach and stores.

Although well located and a great airport shuttle service, the reception area and nice breakfast is about the best of this hotel. Humming, vibrating air conditioners or something else made sleep almost impossible. Internet did not work in the rooms. It's only weak slow dial up. Staff nice, but that is always the case around Brasil because everyone is nice. We would have moved but the choices in this area are few. We were relieved to get on the shuttle to the airport.

Boa estadia! Bom café da manhã. Infelizmente havia um vazamento na ducha do banheiro e falta um espelho no quarto(só havia um no banheiro). Estacionamento na rua(bem tranquila). Atendentes educados.

Estadia maravilhosa, hotel super aconchegante e maravilhoso. O time de funcionários todos muitos educados e gentis, a localização do hotel é muito boa tendo em frente um restaurante e um supermercado. Amei

Hotel muito bem localizado, perto da praia, bares e restaurantes. Café da manhã maravilhoso, funcionários atenciosos. O ponto fraco é que no quarto, as vezes, vinha um cheiro ruim que acreditamos ser do ar condicionado.

Cheguei cedo e eles permite que deixasse as malas na recepção. Achei super válido pq da pra ir a praia sair facilita muito. Funcionários educados e sempre solícitos . Tinha uma senhora q fica na parte do café e a msm limpa os quartos muito simpática. Não tenho nada a reclamar. Localização ótima tudo perto . Amei

Hotel bem localizado e perto de tudo (supermercado, farmácia, bar/restaurante, praia). As instalações e o café da manhã são ótimos, pena que quando limparam nosso quarto só arrumaram nossa cama e tiraram o lixo, o chão ficou sujo (quarto e banheiro), mas como no outro dia já iríamos embora não reclamei! No geral é um bom hotel!

Sempre é muito prazeirosa a estadia no Duble. Os funcionários e todo o serviço são muito profissionais e gentis.

Durante minha estadia de uma semana no hotel, fui surpreendido negativamente pela realização de obras no local, das quais não fui previamente informado. Embora tenha tentado continuar minhas atividades laborais a partir do hotel, a constante interferência do barulho, que iniciava pontualmente às 8h da manhã, tornou impossível tanto trabalhar quanto descansar adequadamente. Além disso, constatei que o quarto disponibilizado apresentava um espaço excessivamente reduzido, adequado apenas para a acomodação de uma única pessoa. No que tange à limpeza, identifiquei uma quantidade significativa de poeira acumulada sob a cama e um odor desagradável no banheiro. Ressalto, porém, que o atendimento, o café da manhã e a localização do hotel mostraram-se satisfatórios. Devido a essas circunstâncias, foi necessário formalizar uma reclamação junto ao hotel e à plataforma de reservas.
