Air conditioning in the room was very poor and didn’t really work. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Beautiful decor and view from rooftop.

Good place to stay in Gas, inside the old city but on the edges. Easy to get to and park if you are driving.

I already paid for this room online, but they charged me for my room and tax again. There was no hot water for shower.

Convenient location, 5-10min walk distance from where taxi could drop us off. Luggage was already in our room upon arrival (we moved from another riad to this one), but no mint tea provided for welcome (like all the other riads we stayed). Staffs are helpful. The room looks like recently furnished with modern style. HOWEVER, the washroom is not well-designed for use (you need to be very careful with the sink and the shower to prevent water from running to the floor). They charged for 40 dirham taxes each person at check-out, which was somehow 15 dirham more expensive to our previous riad in the Medina.

Said refused to help us when we arrived with a little taxi trouble. Very nonchalant. From the moment we arrived he kept on asking when we will be leaving as if he does not want us there. Terrible staff. A 5 star wanna be.

We enjoyed our stay in Riad Anata. It is in a typical family house style of Fez, with rooms surrounding a courtyard at the center. Our room is the orange room on the first floor, very cosy and nice and have all amenities we need. Staff was very nice, gave us an introduction of the Medina and the city which meant so much as you can easily get lost in the Medina. Terrace is lovely with nice view of the neighborhood. It is very enjoyable to have breakfast and dinner on the terrace with delicious food available from the riad’s own kitchen. When we went the neighbor of the riad is having some renovation so there was some noise. It didn’t impact our stay much but can be a point to note for those who wish to spend a lot of time in the riad during the day. Overall I still highly recommend any travelers to stay at this riad.

This Riad pays close attention to their guests. Sara at the front desk was very attentive to our needs and assisted us greatly. She walked us to a restaurant to confirm we would not get lost, she went to the train station to buy our tickets for the next day, thank you very much Sara. Said, what can I say, super attentive, great bartender, great cook, great everything. He helped us with everything and know how to make an excellent tea, mint water and yummy breakfast. One afternoon he made the best kiwi mojitos, unbelievable. We will miss your greatly and wanted to thank everyone for all their attention and hospitality. The Riad was very beautiful, small and quaint. Our room was very nice and met all of our needs... Thanks everyone at Riad Anata!

Our entire stay went very smoothly with the help from the staff at Riad Anata. Our driver picked us up on time from the train station and drove us close to the Riad, and walked us for the last few 100 steps to the Riad. Said was there to check us in. He was extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms we had booked were clean and well laid out. Breakfast on the rooftop was a great way to start each of our mornings while in Fes. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and they remembered our preferences (they brought extra coffee out) after the first morning. The riad had arranged for a day trip to Volobilis and Meknes and that trip went very smoothly and was well priced. The owner (Valerie) checked in with us a few times to make sure we were having a nice stay and offer recommendations. One afternoon our group spent a few hours watching the sunset over Fes and the staff was more than happy to bring us a few bottles of wine and some small snacks. Everyone working at Riad Anata was genuinely friendly and made out experience memorable.

Riad Anata is a real jewel in the middle of the chaotic medina. Easy to access (and this is very important when you book a riad in Fes) the place is very well decorated and maintained. Wonderful breakfast in the rooftop. But the staff is really what makes Anata one of the best places to stay in the medina. Saeed, Samira, Sara and Mohammed (and Iolanda, although I only met her through our emails exchanges) are a great team!!! I can't thank them enough for taking care of my parents while we were there for 2 nights (3 days). The only downsize is the actual size of the room we stayed, very small even for riad standards.

Overall, my friend and I really enjoyed Riad Anata! They make a great first impression with excellent hospitality and the customary Moroccan mint tea. The decor of the Riad is impeccable, and the staff is extremely warm and accommodating. The breakfast is filling and delicious, and is offered on the terrace, providing lovely morning views of the medina. The only issue we had was when we were trying to enter the Riad one nite at 11 pm, and we had to ring the doorbell and call for 10 minutes. That may not seem like much, but when it's cold and dark, it would have been great to get in sooner! So, my only suggestion is to have a different entry system at nite, but other than that the stay was excellent, and I would stay again!

Perfect choice and position – close enough (short walking distance) to shopping and sites but not in the middle of chaos. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Clean rooms and public areas. Charming hostess (Valerie) and friendly staff assisted with our excessive luggage – from the taxi to our room and back. Good breakfast on roof terrace. Valerie offered many recommendations and tips, went out of her way to book restaurants and further travel arrangements for us. Thank you Valerie and team, you deserve a big thumbs up!

The riad is very nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and they can help you arrange activities and food per your request. It would be good if the riad can arrange porter service as it would be quite difficult to get lost in the maze of Fes. Overall: would recommend to anyone who wants to get a taste of the riad in morocco.

Fantastic and the riad service was over the top. Valerie arranged a guided tour and directed us to great restaurants. The staff also prepared special meals within the Riad.
