I booked 3 rooms about a month ago via Traveloka and chose 1 guest/room with 1 single bed as I noticed that there is twin bed (2 single beds) in the room anyway, so I thought it’ll be okay for 2 persons. However, upon arriving at the hotel from a very long flight at 12 AM, the hotel staffs rejected my mom & her friends to stay if they don’t pay 80 EURO charge (for 3 rooms per night). They forced them to pay because it is stated in the voucher that the rooms they were about to stay are just for 1 person/room, so they couldn’t let the rooms are occupied by 2 persons. Although I understand the argument, what makes me really disappointed is: 1. During booking the hotel, it is clearly stated that there is twin bed in one room which makes me think that it’s possible for 2 persons to occupy the room. 2. There is no hotel policy stating that there will be a charge if the guest is more than 1 person in a room. 3. The hotel forced my mom and all of her friends to leave the hotel if they do not want to pay the charge fee, even though the room is booked. Despite this unsatisfying experience, the location is great and the food is quite delicious.
