It was a bit run down and unkept

Our room and bathroom were very good, with large comfortable bed, excellent bedding and towels and very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and opened at 7.00, allowing time to start activities early. Our only disappointment was that we arrived at 10.00 on the ferry from Horta and, whilst knowing that check in was not officially until 4pm did hope to get in the room before we did at 3pm.

Good location, basic room and terrible car park view

Really friendly staff, Miguel was particularly helpful. Comfortable room with good breakfast. Complimentary tea was available in the Reception area during our stay, which was much appreciated. Walking distance from shops. Parking can be a bit tricky, but perhaps they have additional spaces we were not aware of

Better then I expected, A welcomed surprise

Staff always seem to be irritated. They are not helpful. The beds are hard as a plank of wood. Furnishings are very dated.

Wow, this hotel has some of of the best hotel staff I have experienced (the bartender was a bit maudlin for 11pm on a Saturday), amazing location, great pool and lots of breakfast. My air conditioner was leaking - they came and fixed it and even left me an extra large towel if it acted up.

the only thing for me I didn't like was the mattress was very hard. I would stay there again, perfect location, great staff and breakfast.

Lovely hotel on Pico island great breakfast included. Beds are on the firmer side and parking might be a bit of a challenge in peak times but would stay again for sure. Pool area looked great too.

The most depressing hotel we have experienced. The hotel staff was unresponsive, excluding the maids. The beds are extremely hard and like sleeping on a rock. The breakfast was simply unedidble.

The hotel is clean, rooms pretty spacious. Easy and convenient walk to ferry. We would have really enjoyed the bar being open in the afternoon, but it was closed for lunch from 13-17 (very typical for small local places). Since it’s a bigger hotel we were surprised to find it closed. We enjoyed the front desk person who agreed to drive us to and from Sao Roque even though it was a festival night.
