Booked this room because we were passing through to a destination and wanted to break up the trip time. I selected this one because it said they have a charging station on site, but they do NOT. Overall the stay wasn't bad with a few issues. No tv remote in the room but was resolved by the front desk clerk. Parts of the floor felt damp, the shampoo that is normally attached to the shower was not so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. It was pricey for the stay and breakfast was 2 hours behind. It said breakfast started at 6am but it was almost 8am before it was avaliable.

Nice property. We had a quiet evening. The property was not well located. No restaurants close by. Breakfast was not much to talk about. If you just want a small bite, it is fine.

Lobby looked nice but the floor was filthy. The elevator was dirty and floor sticky. Carpet needs cleaning or replacing. To say this is suppose to be a better hotel chain, I’m really disappointed.

The Staff was very good, however, the room we first got was not. There were dead bugs all around the frame of the bed which we didn't see right when we checked in. Traveled with friends so we spent time in their room and then came back up to ours which is when we found the issues. They evidently have a ladybug problem coming into the windows and there was a lot of them in our first room, including a dead cockroach. There was also no bath gel in the shower so they might have a housekeeping issue. We requested another room and Felicia was super accommodating. The 2nd room still had one dead & one moving but not nearly as many dead ones as the first room. I'm not sure I would stay there again due to those issues. Changing rooms at 10 pm is no fun; I asked about compensation but was told because I booked thru a 3rd party that wasn't possible. I think they could have at least took the $75 dog fee off due to the poor housekeeping, but I was still charged for that. I've stayed at Home2Suites before and have not had this issue. I don't believe I would stay at the Jackson/Ridgeland location again.
