Wonderful experience. Anyone who has not stayed at a machiya should stay at one (especially for families and larger groups). Hatoba-an was superb. Clean, lots of room (not just by Japanese standards!), many original touches, a small rock garden, great location near Gion, everything worked perfectly. 10/10

We enjoyed our experience at Hatoba-an. Much more than a hotel room, or even a ryokan, it's a slice of history and lifestyle that you can explore completely at your leisure. We would love to stay again!

6人でのグループ旅行でした。何よりみんなで時間を共有できたし、自宅のように寛げる空間にテンション上がりっぱなし！「京都感」も堪能しました。行き届いた清潔感と備品にも大満足でした。ぜひ次回もまた利用したいお宿です。

在看了Expedia的介紹後，決定入住此屋，在傳統日式房舍中，有兩張軟床跟三張傳統日式鋪床，讓擔心回到房間會太累而無法睡在日式鋪床的房客，也可以斟酌選擇到軟床。另外有廚房、洗衣機、衛浴設施也是十分好用，雖然衣櫃不大，也有些櫃子是被封起來了，不過大致上住上5~6人士綽綽有餘，不過就隔音來說不太好，雖然位處巷弄內，沒這麼吵雜，但是在不習慣有汽車的聲音時，還是偶會被驚醒

交通方便,三条京阪站旁,鄰近祇園及河原町,逛街購物方便。很適合家庭旅遊入住,最多可以住6人,廚房器具非常齊全,要買東西回來料理也很方便。
