The only flaw with our visit was that we thought we had booked a first floor room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived we were told it was a second floor room with 18 stairs and no elevator. My wife and I are both seniors (68 and 76 ) we said we couldn't get our luggage up those stairs. So I we were given a first floor room in the motel units attached to the hotel. Dinner meant leaving the building, walking to the front then entering the restaurant from the street. We paid the same price for that room as we would have paid for the room we thought we would get. The hotel had a no vacancy sign our front so I wasn't sure if I should thank the clerk for "finding " that room or if it was a deliberate bait and switch to get rid less desirable rooms at a higher rate.
Overall, the clerk was professional and polite. The restaurant staff were friendly, informative and we were served promptly. Overall I would certainly return but I would be more careful of having in writing with me exactly what I paid for.
