Staff were very friendly and had great tips for dining options. Room was clean and updated, though was very humid even with air conditioner on.

We had to book a second hotel due to the first one being completely disgusting. The place smelled clean and we were welcomed right in. You were able to book our entire team and their families same day. Our hotel room wasn’t vacuumed as there was dog hair all over the floor and crumbs from the previous guests. We talked to housekeeping and they cleaned it right up for us. Other than that our stay was perfect and would recommend

We were told only after booking resturant was closed. Old and dingy, Hyatt no longer a cut above the rest. Sad.

We enjoyed our stay it was very nice. Can’t wait to get back again.

Great location - easy parking- spacious rooms- nice work out facility .

The bed had hair on the sheets and a dirty tissue in the bed. The bed was obviously made without changing the sheets. We received a different room, but inadequate compensation for the poor experience.

We were here to visit my niece. It was a great placd for a one night stay before continuing on our trip back to California.

Nice hotel overall. We had a horrible squeaky light fixture in the bathroom and had to call housekeeping. Turns out they were aware of the problem but didn’t seem to act like they planned a permanent fix. Luckily they were able to make it stop. Aside from that it was a decent hotel

We stayed for a concert at Pinewood Bowl.This hotel was very convenient for getting to and from. Great restaurants in walking distance. Bar and bar snacks were great with excellent service.

Came on a busy weekend for the area, staff could use some customer service training

The only part of our stay that wasn’t great, was the lack of privacy in the bathroom both visually and audibly. The bathroom door also was very difficult to lock, and the bathroom sink whistled loudly and barely reached the sink so water went everywhere. We also couldn’t find a fan for the bathroom, and it got very steamy in there.

The room was big and roomy with a couch in it. Beds were comfy and the hotel was close to Haymarket and the university.

Upon check-in, the desk clerk was friendly and visible. In the morning, however, breakfast was not what I expected for the charge since it was pretty much the same thing I could get at the Holiday Inn for free, and it ended at 930? People expect breakfast to go until at least 10- 1030 am. I did not receive an express check-out and the desk clerk was absent due to a restroom / break time. There should always be at least 2 people at the desk to accommodate those that are checking in and out. This is not what I expected from a Hyatt, but I guess it is a lesser version since it is a "Place." For the price, I will always return to the Holiday Inn.
