Amazing place to stay.

We love staying at Baker's Creek, having been there in October 2024 and late May 2025. The property is extremely tranquil, expect peace and remoteness. Ideal situation is a cabin, although their "main lodge" rooms are very spacious. The staff are extremely hospitable, and the place is a great location if you are looking to be further outside of Banff, while still near Icefield Parkway and Yoho National Park/British Columbia. Highly recommend trying to get a firepit earlier, as I do notice they tend to go quickly. Overall, Baker's Creek has an extremely special place in our heart, as my wife and I were married on the cliffside of Peyto Lake. We can only hope to be back soon...

We didn’t really know what to expect when we booked the lodging. When we learned there was limited wifi and no TV we were surprised. However, the facility is wonderful. Cabins were clean and homey. Daily maid service. Firepits along a beautiful river with complimentary wood. A gym/sauna and even free laundry use! An out of the way lodge that is perfect for any occasion. Not cheap, but worth it.

Exceptional stay at Baker Creek. We stayed in a lodge room and we had a great time! The room is large and well appointed. Absolutely awesome property. Will definitely stay again!

Everything was nearly perfect, great cabin, beautiful places for bar b q,, just the shop to buy basic stuff is bery limited. E.g woman sanity products were not available.

Very quiet and remote. Loved the campfire area. Cabin was very clean and well kept. Staff were great. Only challenge was no service but we adapted just fine, just be prepared. Lake Louise about 15min away.

Our 9-night stay at Baker Creek was wonderful and we would absolutely stay there again! We really appreciated the location - close enough to Lake Louise but off the main highway. Even with trains coming close by, it was peaceful in the lodge building room we were in. The sound of the river compensated for the train noise! The setting is just gorgeous, and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Yes, the carpet is a bit worn, and the towels and sheets weren’t brand new, but it was perfect for a mountain getaway, and the jacuzzi bath was great after a long day of hiking. The laundry facility is just one washer and one dryer in the lodge building, but they are good quality machines and a great amenity. Having a microwave and small refrigerator in our room was also very useful, and the pour over coffee maker and kettle was great! I definitely hope we can make it back to Baker Creek one day!

Very quiet and peaceful. The view is stunning

The room was very comfortable, and we appreciated the pour-over coffee as a morning treat. We arrived early from Banff and went to the office to see if early check-in was possible. The office was locked with a note on the door stating someone would be back in 10 minutes. We waited 20 minutes, and no one came back to the office. We then called the office and left a voicemail. It took almost 3 hours before someone returned our call. Obviously, we didn't need early check-in at that point. The rooms were great, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us.

Beautiful location in the woods. Very cozy and quiet.

Beautiful property close to Lake Louise. Really enjoyed the log style and fireplace. If you are questioning, yes, the breakfast burritos are worth the $$! Would definitely stay here again!

Love the surrounding area with creek and trees. Inside needs improvement at least brighter lightings.
