This place is only good if you have a car. Very inconvenient to public transport. Lovely location overlooking lake but very basic facilities - not even a glass and definitely no jug for a cup of tea. Front desk staff not friendly Great breakfast that is for sure but note it doesn’t start until 8am!

What a perfect location to spend a few days by the lake Garda. First off: if you arrive by var, there is an entire gated area belonging to the hotel where you can park your car in the shade of olive tree (most hotels in this area only offer right spots which are difficult to get in and out). Our balcony overlooking the lake was breathtaking and waking up next morning to a rich breakfast buffet got us going for a day of exploring..... only to relax later on by the beautiful hotel pool. We highly recommend this hotel!

Had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean and there was a good choice at breakfast.

it was wonderful. beautiful views and the whole property over all is magical. i would say that the rooms are a bit small but pretty comfortable. the rooms that don’t have a view of the lake are pretty lame but there’s a big balcony with the sickest view. the cleaning lady wasn’t so nice and was rushing me to get out of my room in a rude way. breakfast was simple and nice, not so many options. the location was a little tricky. it’s kinda in a middle of nowhere especially coming with public transportation but no so far from the bus stop up the road. if you looking on going out at night you need to find a way to take a cab if you not with a car because the nearest town is not so much of a walking distance.

It was a 6 day break from several weeks of travelling. Area was good with a 15 minute walk towards Malcesine to the lakeside and restaurant. View from the room was excellent with lake and mountain views. Free parking was a major benefit. A large swimming pool was available and the garden setting was excellent. The breakfast room had great lake views and the breakfast was fine. Local bus stopped outside the hotel and was a short ride into Malcesine. A walking option into town around the lakeside in around 25 minutes. Malcesine had plenty of nice restaurants, boat trips and shops.

Very good hotel. Great views from our room and the breakfast room. Much better than expected for a two star hotel. Would have liked more information about the area and things you can do.

The Villa has nice grounds, but the hotel room was very small and dingy. The bathroom was dark, small, old with the smallest shower cabin ever. The hotel is on a very busy road, without sidewalks and about 30 min walk to the centre of the village.

We stayed in one of their family rooms with a terrace. What a beautiful view over Lake Garda! Incredible! That made up for the somewhat utilitarian room with not the most comfortable of beds (we still slept well, as we were tired from our day's adventures), and the small bathroom. They have a very nice swimming pool and another plus was that there was easily accessible and ample parking (which is not a given in Malcesine). Given the opportunity, we'd love to come back!

Nice hotel, breakfast and pool good. A little far out of town but hotel let us borrow bikes for free which was lovely. View from balcony and breakfast room amazing. Bathroom a bit small but staff really friendly

The hotel was in a brilliant location, right on the lake side. The rooms were nice and clean. The shower was very small but ok.

Really enjoyed our stay in Malcinese. Little bit of a walk into town so may be best using your car to get in if this isn't up your street (maybe half an hour or so along a stretch of road and then lake). The hotel was nice, staff were friendly and we enjoyed the pool. Area seemed fairly quiet compared to parts we drove through to get here, so enjoyed that. our room had a great balcony view, which appears on all of the local postcards

Cannot Rate this highly enough - if you are looking for hustle & bustle and being in the centre of things or maybe with young kids - this might not be the place for you. However if you are looking for calm, peaceful in a small village with views to die for (which is exactly what I wanted) then Hotel Villa Orrizzonte is perfection. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the beautiful grounds , then the hotel itself is cool, inviting and beautifully maintained. When we opened the curtains onto our terrace WOW. The hotel itself only does breakfast but what a great breakfast, the lake is a 5 minute walk away with a water sports centre, everything you need is right there and buses will take you further to Malcesine. This is now one of my favourite places and I will definitely be back.

Very impressed with the service, the view, the pool area and location of the property. We felt it offered very good value for money and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful views lovely gardens nice pool area and good breakfast they even sorted out a very early morning snack to take to the airport on our departure day .would return to this hotel in future .
