Solid choice in Mariehamn. Central location. Not a difficult walk from the ferry, and close to everything else. My room was nice enough, WiFi worked great, and breakfast was really tasty. Best, the front desk helped me arrange a rental car for a day of exploring beautiful and interesting Aland.

Definitely a wonderful hotel super friendly staff @ front office and housekeeping, loved it. Aland is definitely worth the trip especially off off season and this one is a great option to stay at. Cheers !

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were nice, the breakfast options were great and the room was great. However, it was slightly awkward that I was told my room was ready and available when I arrived at the hotel, but that I would have to wait until closer to check-in time to access the room.

The location is perfect for walking to shopping and attractions. Parking lot is sometimes too full and guests must park on street. Air-conditioning did not work well and room was a bit too warm. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Room was on the small side. No safe in the room was of concern for us. Buffet was crowded and food was only ok. There was no lotion provided in the bathroom as in almost every hotel I've stayed in. The room was on the warm side. Bed was comfortable. Staff were pleasant and location was excellent.

Hopefully this review will find its way to hotel management and owners. Let me start with positive points which are renovated facilities, good breakfast and air conditioned public areas. BUT, no air conditioning in classic twin room which was sad suprise for our family. It was 26C outside, and probably closer to 30C inside the room 24/7. You can’t expect this from renovated 4-star hotel where everything else is upgraded and room rates are rather expensive, and where air conditioning is from the 80s with yellow 3-step control panel. It was literally blowing warm air inside and the whistling noise was disruptive. I asked for possibility to change the room or upgrade it, but apparently all rooms have this outdated AC. I won’t come back to this hotel before they invest in decent air conditioning. Fridge with cold drinks for the kids could have helped a bit, but there is no mini-bar fridge in the rooms. Secondly, we arrived with Viking Line cruise ship and when we arrived on Sunday to the reception of hotel, there was already long queue and only one staff member registering customers. This hotel should be prepared for cruise ship arrivals and prepare second desk for registering. It took about 20min. And when it was our turn at 2:55 pm, we were told that rooms are not ready, come back in the evening. Easier said than done with 1 and 4 year old kids. ”Take your luggage to luggage room” OK, but when we came to luggage room it was closed and nobody opened it. Bad service.

10/10 would recommend and visit again.

Extremely clean and fresh, conveniently located and with a great restaurant in the premises.

I slept really well at the hotel. Quiet A/C, darkening curtains. Hotel interior was newish and Scandinavian. Functional. Lacking minibar was a small surprise. Room cleaning was a disappointment. The room was in pristine condition when we arrived, no complaints. But. During our stay the cleaning was not daily but needed to be requested separately. And the quality of the room cleaning wasn't that good. In general, we enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast, good sleep, friendly staff. I would stay at the same hotel next time.

We stayed one night in hotel Pommern. Everything was in order and as expected. The location of the hotel is very convenient if you arrive by ferry. The breakfast was good.

Clean and nice hotel in the center of town. Kind staff and a good restaurant.

Smart modern hotel and super friendly staff. Rooms are very comfortable, only strange thing is the wetroom design of the bathrooms which can be a bit inconvenient.
