Good hotel for an overnight stop on the way to Santander ferry port. Slightly small room but adequate for the one night. Good evening meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little uninspiring.

We had flown into Bilbao and were heading West. A great overnight stop. Really conveniently situated.

Clean, modern rooms with excellent bathrooms but the WiFi we could not get working correctly

Lovely greeting by receptionist on our arrival, room had super comfy beds air con slow on fast setting but room was a comfortable temp. Shower over bath lovely and warm, small bathroom which was clean and all we needed for an overnight stop before the ferry.

Convenient hotel on outskirts of Santander after ferry crossing for 1 night stay. Easy to find, good sized rooms, quiet at night, easy check in, good price, hotel has cafe and restaurant for meals, adequate parking. Would stay again

Great little hotel to use as a stopover while you wait for the Santander ferry. Its a 20 minute drive away. Good size rooms. Hotel staff helpful. There's a cafe and restaurant on site. Accept dogs which is important for us and free parking outside of the hotel.

The hotel was easy to find and we sekected it because it accepted dogs and was only a 20 minute drive from the Santander Ferry. The greeting from the receptionist was very warm and friendly and she answered all the queries we had. The room was clean, bed was a bit too firm for us, but this is just a personal preference issue. Bathroom was small but had everything required and was clean and tidy with plenty of hard water. There is a cafe and a restaurant on site to suit everyone's budget. The only thing that let the place down for us was the staff serving in the cafe. We got there mid afternoon and wanted a beer, coffee and cake and seemed to get ignored when i went to the counter to place my order. Other guests turning up behind me had their orders taken and I almost went to the receptionist to find out what the issue was. This happened again in the evening when we went down to have a light supper. Guests seated after us had their orders taken and were served before anyone came to take our drink order. Poorest service we had received anywhere we had eaten in the 6 weeks we had spent in Spain. Such a shame after the positive greeting and assistance we had from the receptionist.

We stayed here before travelling to Santander for the ferry, easy to find, some on site parking. Room was good, clean, comfy bed, black out blind. Reception staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was very busy the night we stayed, it was difficult to get served in the bar and the floor was covered in bits of paper. Overall, I would stay there again.

Arriving after travelling for 12 hours to a friendly smile makes all the diference. The room was specious and clean with plenty of complementary toiletries. A comfortable bed and pillows added to a very nice one night stay. I Would, in confidence recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel, perfect location for us to explore the area.

The hotel is owned by an elderly couple who used to farm years ago hence why the beautiful homemade Icecreams from their cows. The beef is exemplary too The restaurant food is outstanding The room was beautifully clean. Air conditioning was superb Sheets lovely, crisp , clean beds firm but comfortable. The area is quiet with a beautiful backdrop of mountains local walking Easy access to Santander and French border...as a family with a teenage daughter we had a triple room so was perfect. Rioja is £1.50 a glass. Cafe part of this hotel is buzzing with locals eating their homemade specialties. Absolutely outstanding value for money

So the reason why my review wasn’t 5* was because of the staff in the restaurant. Never have I ever had someone so rude serve me. Clearly the woman was having a bad day. She served me a bottle of wine, unopened with no glass. Then served my main course as I was half way through my starter, my partner had finished so she took his plate...bread was thrown as us on the table and she was swearing constantly. This was one woman in the restaurant - other than her it was a wonderful place to stay, the room was clean and tidy. Parking was plentiful and secure. Receptionist was helpful and informative, bar staff was lovely when we went for breakfast, very patient with my Spanish lingo! Lol would stay there again, great if you need a stop over for the night :)

A little way from Santander not too difficult to find, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were solid, not a good night sleep. Plenty of hot water, dinner started at 8 pm, an adequate meal.
