We were disappointed with our stay at Best Western Inn at York Maine. The breakfast was unappetizing and unchanged throughout our six-night stay. ( Cold scrambled eggs, pork sausage ,cold bread waffles or pancakes and cereal) Housekeeping only visited on the third day, and despite our request, they did not provide fresh sheets, instead merely making the bed and removing trash. The floors in the room and bathroom were not cleaned, and the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. The chairs and curtains were outdated. The receipt was slipped under our door on checkout day, which was unprofessional. The hotel seemed understaffed. This experience has led us to decide against returning.

Excellent hotel for less cost than hotels right on the beach. Only a 5 minute drive to the beach. Rooms newly renovated, comfortable and clean. Only complain was loud AC.

The first night I stayed there was great. Staff was friendly the next night I stayed the staff was not as friendly, barely even acknowledge we were there

Easy ride to the coast!

Good location, clean, and clean. Pleasent stay.

The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was firm enough to make sleep comfortable. The breakfast was a bit of a challenge. Children were running around and making messes. The breakfast staff didn’t keep up with restocking food and cleaning the tables.

Very Nice hotel. our first experience with a Best Western hotel and certainly will not be our last. the front desk personnel were very friendly and very helpful finding restaurants in the area. we had two minor issues - breakfast on our last day was very low temperature - the heating elements shut off but the staff was not aware. They took care of it immediately once told. The other issue was the beeping smoke detector. the solution by hotel was to remove the detector as it was at the end of its life.

Quiet area within close proximity to dining and shopping

This hotel was quite literally spotless, both in the room and in the public area. Very nicely equipped fitness room, and very good breakfast choices.

Staff was very kind

The lobby has a strong scent of urine and chlorine, the walls of the rooms are very thin (you can hear everything from other rooms and hallways) but it was pretty clean in the room.

Overall, a decent place to lay your head down. It was clean and reasonably priced.

This hotel is consistently clean, well lit, free parking, adequate breakfast!

Nice people for check in, quite, clean

The pool was very clean and a nice temperature. The lobby and breakfast areas are roomy, clean and modern. Very comfortable. The breakfast is adequate. It would be nice if they brought back the make-your-own pancake/waffle machine.

Staff is nice, they keep it up well. Everything was very clean and organized

The hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are big enough for two comfortably. There were plenty of places to put our belongings. Breakfast was very good! Many choices. The issues we had were the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Both of us woke up with neck pain. The air conditioner is super loud. The carts to unpack need to have brakes so you can load and unload without having them take off on you.
