Booked based on other reviews. Very clean and fabulous location . The room is spacious enough as many rooms in Rome are tight. The beds are ultra firm and pillows flat as many in Rome. Here’s the difference, Marco and Pierre at the desk which by the way, is operated 24/7, they gave such incredible personal service far above any other hotel we have been in n Rome. They make the difference!!We are touring all day and only sleeping there. The bathroom was recently renovated with a rain head. Bar in the hotel. Would definitely stay again. Can’t say enough about Marco and Pierre. 5 star customer service!!!

Awesome facility! Perfect for tourists!

It was on the vaticans door step easy to get to most locations walking my third time at the hearth and would go again.

The location was perfect with the hotel literally being a 30 second walk away from the Vatican Museum and about 10 mins away from St Peter's Basilica. The staff were so helpful and polite and provided great service. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great hotel, budget friendly, clean room and friendly staff. The location is perfect. It’s right next to The Vatican, restaurants, laundry and grocery. I will definitely book a room there again.

Perfect Location near metro and just steps from Vatican Museums entrance. Clean, comfortable and super nice staff. From the check in to check out. Only downside: for two nights in a row from 11:00pm to 2:00am there were kids, fights between rooms and opening and slamming doors. We understand that hotels have different guests and you don’t know if you are going to have that bad luck, but it was terrible… Hope you don’t have the bad luck we did…

Great place incredible location

Three night stay. Very positive and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Location for Vatican was perfect, about 250m to museum entrance. Lobby and breakfast areas were small but never crowded.

Except for the location and friendliness at the reception desk, it was a very disappointing experience. The shower was clogged and full of hair residues, room service came at 5:00 pm one day to get the room done, breakfast was very dissapointing and the breakfast room/facilities very unconfortable and outdated. Sadly, I would not reccomend the place.

Brilliant location for Vatican , ottavio metro 5 mins walk handy for getting around , the city and all locations to visit , hotel clean and friendly, great for short stays to the city and a safe location . Had an enjoyable stay

Location, Hotel, Location. What better place to start sighting, Vatican City across the Road, short walk to St Peters. This is my second visit to The Hearth Hotel. It is the care and attention, the friendliness of all the staff that will bring me back again. I'm in a wheelchair, the building is really old and not so easy for the wheelchair. With humour I say the lift chooses its own pace, usually snail paced, but it always got me to the floor. If you want real Italian food- across from the Hotel is a great place with vibrant staff and good food. Thank you all at the Hearth Hotel for making may stay so sucessful. So many positive things. The staff at the hotel was fabulous. The location was perfect if you are visiting the Vatican and surrounding area. The fact that it was once a monastery was really cool. The room was immaculate and spacious. The place is newly renovated and the rooms where quite lovely. Breakfast was included and charming. Incredible value! Highly recommend.

Lovely family run business, steps from the Vatican. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable although not particularly decorated. Gracious friendly service and extensive breakfast offerings. Right around the corner from one of our very favorite restaurants - La Locanda Di Pietro, friendly service and outstanding food.

This hotel was great, right in front of the entrance to Vatican museums. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was very clean and very comfortable bed. Overall a great experience

Great location! Right across the street from the Vatican! All staff is super friendly! Most of the staff spoke English which was also a plus. The breakfast was ok, after 5 days my husband and I got tired of the same thing. Over all I have no complaints, except for the shower door that allows water to wet up the rest of the bathroom, but I noticed this same thing in other hotels outside of the U.S
