Check in was a little rocky. My daughter and I had been driving for 8 hours, we were told our room was ready via the person in the computer, and they were still cleaning our room. We were told to come back in 30 min. I definitely don’t blame the cleaners and they did a great job cleaning. However, there seems to be issues with their lobby assistant working from another place. Other than the check in, this place was great. I especially liked the shower/bath tub

It was the craziest easiest checkin. Our checkin was virtual. When we walked in there was someone greeting us from a kiosk….but live. I’ve never had that experience but it worked well.

I love the proximity to the ocean/beach front.... how quiet it was.... you, the sea lions & God....

I liked that it was right at the marina and lighthouse with plenty of public parks nearby! Great local restaurants in the area!

To begin with this was my first visit to Crescent City, and I didn’t have any expectations as far as lodging , eateries and tourist accommodations. Upon my arrival I was met by a computer image that took my information and verification identification. I had a difficult time talking to the person on the computer screen and eventually a real person came out to help me register. Once this was done a went to my assigned room 114. It was larger than expected, since I was the only one staying there. It was clean and well appointed. The bed was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a rubber mat for those wanting to shower. it is located near the marina and a large walking beach area and several really good restaurants. Being right off of highway 101, you would think there would be lots of traffic noise, but no that was not the case. It was easy to get around to visit the many beautiful groves of the large sequoia trees, the coast redwoods. Close to both Redwood National/State Parks made this place a welcoming and practical location. A short drive to the famous Lighthouse was but a ten minute drive from the hotel. The aquarium was another five minutes away. So these are the positives of the property, good access, great location, friendly staff , clean and safe rooms , reasonable prices. For the negatives there are only really two that stood out to me . I had difficulty registering due to my age and breakfast was just ok. I would stay again here.

Kiosk check in not so terrible as the reviews make it seem. Big room with view to the ocean. 5 minute walk to the beach. If you leave your window you can hear the seals. Overall good experience however the bathroom need a lil tlc. Grab and go breakfast.

Location was fair. There was a strange chemical odor in the room, but improved when we opened the windows. Space was great otherwise.

Rm. 107 I would rate this higher but the bed was very uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on a rock. The TV remote wasn’t working. The toilet seat needs to be replaced it’s tearing apart. And what’s with the kiosk to check in and out? What happened to the real customer service.

The room is very basic, which was fine, the "breakfast" is all pre packaged crap snack foods, granola bars, muffins and old apples zero protein options. One of the reasons we booked there was because of the breakfast, unfortunately we still had to stop to eat. Also not talking to a real person and having to take to a screen is weird, takes the experience out of it for sure. Only positive the walk to the ocean is foot steps away.

Check in via computer with a heavily accented clerk. Difficult to understand, so check in was a hassle. Breakfast was poor. Room large, comfy and clean. Good location.

The room was excellent especially for the room and the view. My only gripe was using the Kiosk with the teleworker. He was fantastic but I dont understand the need when they had someone on property at the front desk who could be checking people in and out. I'm only in my 20s and i think the kiosk is weird too. Not only a old persons opinion.
