The hotel is centrally placed and cheap parking is close by. But it is dated and room ventilation difficult. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was tiny but bathroom fully equiped.

Good place to stay for a night. Great location within walking distance of many things- restaurants, bars, chateau, museum. However- the reason I booked this hotel is that hotels.com shows (still there) "Parking- free nearby parking," under At a glance, then Transportation. This is not true. When we arrived and asked where this was, we were told that there is no free parking, and to park on the street where it is free in the evening (time of arrival) but that we would have to go out in the morning and pay. This is NOT what "free nearby parking" means!

Terrific and kind staff. Very helpful with all questins about hotel and area. Room reseved in well in advance on holiday and arranged price honored.

Due to having no air conditioning and a very stuffy room, the windows had to be wide open and the street noise that went on ALL night made it impossible to sleep. The staff were very friendly and tried hard to please. Breakfast was good for the price. Perfectly sited for a tourist visit.

Functional hotel that has all the basic amenities, located close to the main shopping street and castle complex. Good for a brief stopover in Caen, nothing memorable but did the job with comfortable bed and good shower. Be warned that there is no lift and walls seemed a little thin.

Hotel in an excellent position in the town. Room very small with minimum facilities. Bathroom too small for comfort. Could do with towels changing daily. Room and bed linen clean and quite acceptable, although the bed was a little small. No facilities for less mobile people -steep stairs and no lift.

Booked this because I read good reviews, however this is not the case and the hotel was at best - adequate. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you don't care about standards.

There is no elevator and room/bathroom were tiny. There was about 2 feet of space around the bed and a small table with the tv. We were only there over night so was doable. No room for suitcase! Staff friendly and helpful, great location, clean. They are building a new hotel on the property that will have an elevator and I expect larger rooms. Great stopping place from touring Normandy area. Had a great meal and loved the Cathedral in the middle of town.

The Churchill Hotel is located directly on the colorful walking street in Bayeux--a perfect location! The hotel is charming, and our room was perfect with windows overlooking the walking street. Please note that if you are visiting in the warm months, be sure to request a room with A/C. Not all rooms have it. Breakfast was an extra 10 Euros PP, which was a little steep. Bayeux is only a 20-30 minute drive to the American landing beaches in Normandy and the American Military Cemetery, so it's a great location and a quaint, beautiful little town.

Management/owners really caare.

Un petit hôtel sans prétention, plein centre donc très pratique mais attention si vous logez du samedi au dimanche : le parking en face c'est fourrière assurée car marché tôt le dimanche matin... Donc parking du château et 22 euros de frais :( Les murs sont en papier donc si voisins pénibles nuit pénible malgré lit confortable. Petit salle de bain et poubelle en métal toute piquée à changer... Personnel sympathique.

Seul point négatif : La salle de douche est un peu étroite. La literie confortable. Nous avons eu un excellent accueil du personnel de l’hôtel. La situation de l’hôtel est superbe en plein centre-ville mais dans une rue très calme.

Accueil très agréable par une personne serviable et à l’écoute. L’hôtel a un bon rapport qualité prix. Il est idéalement situé à Caen entre le port de plaisance, le château et les rues piétonnes.

Nous avons passé un séjour agreable. L'hotel est bien situé pour visiter Caen et la chambre est propre, calme et confortable. Le personnel est accueillant. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Le réceptionniste m’a reçue avec beaucoup de courtoisie dans une entrée très agréable, après avoir passé une élégante devanture. Je m’attendais donc à une décoration de chambre plus coquette ; elle est très basique. Le réceptionniste a proposé de porter ma valise ; agréable, dans cet hôtel sans ascenseur. Un hôtel urn situé.

Parfait bien situé,lit confortable très sympathique j ai vraiment apprécié ce petit week-end je recommande cet hôtel sans soucis 😊

Reservation pour deux nuits pour une chambre familiale pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. A l’arrivée, la personne de l’hôtel nous dit qu’il n’y a plus de chambre familiale pour 4 personnes. Il nous donne alors deux chambres séparé dont une chambre sans salle de bain. Après avoir laver les enfants, il faut traverser les parties communes pour les mettre dans l’autre chambre, c’est intolerable. La salle de bain est minuscule, l’isolation phonique n’est pas bonne et il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Nous mettons une étoile car le responsable a accepté de nous rembourser la deuxième nuit, ce qui est la moindre des choses car la chambre n’est pas conforme a ce que nous avons réservé .

C'est central, c'est propre, c'est trop petit!
