The rooms were clean and spacious. Our room was in a separate wing which seemed a bit odd. The staff were helpful. We weren’t far from Munich by train though we had a car, it was easy to catch a train. There are a few restaurants nearby and a supermarket across the road.

Good location to take train into Munich or day trip by car to other places in Bavaria. Good breakfast. Bit of wear and tear (sunlight blind broken) but clean and comfortable.

Check in was fast, even though it was busy we easily found parking. The room was clean and spacious, however, it was quite hot and the air conditioner doesnt really cool the room down. Breakfast was great. There were a lot of choices and it was fresh.

The hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although they have a bar and restaurant, they only offered breakfast. I found this very strange, especially in June, which is normally holiday time. There is a restaurant next door, but it is not the same as being able to walk downstairs and relax, without having to think about the weather.

Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great and has a lot of dining options within walking distance. We ended up with one of the only rooms on the top floor that didn't have a fan, so the first couple nights were rough.

It was nice and I would use it again. Very convenient to U Bahn and bus. Grocery stores nearby.

The hotel was very nice and wven had some very nice items for sale. We arrived a bit late and ended up going to an Italian restaurant within walking distance, which I highly recommend. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

This is not a chain hotel but a lovely traditional hotel in town that is not far from Munich. The staff was very helpful, town is small "real German town" not a big city but only 1/2 an hour away but the train was only 2 blocks from the hotel. And it ran every 20 minutes. We found 4 good restaurants that were all within walking distance, few stores, with very friendly people. I highly recommend this hotel for a true German Experience and an EZ trip to Munich without the hassle of driving

A very nice hotel with really good buffet breakfast , we had a car so it didn't matter that was a bit out of Munich.

It was a nice place and a great price for the off season at the time I went the end of November. The only complaint I have is that the room was too hot and no way to adjust the temperature that I could see, and when I opened the window, the cars were too loud. All in all I highly recommend though :)

Would have been 4/5 but such a petty thing. I asked for an extra towel AM, provided one bath towel that frankly was tiny. I asked for another - gladly gave me the extra & then on return to room evening & extra towel removed. Why do hotels do this? Think guys it’s not rocket science.

Beautiful quaint hotel and will absolutely stay here again. Staff was nice and helpful for English speaking visitors. Outside of Munich but easy drive into town. We did rent a car which made travel easier

I stayed two nights in this lovely Bavarian style hotel and was very impressed by the spacious room, the staff and the location. It’s a 3 minute walk to the S-Bahn (suburban train) station, with trains every 20 minutes direct to Munich central station (or only 17 minutes to Giesing where you can change onto the underground). My room came with a Nespresso machine, complimentary water, lots of wardrobe space and also a large bathroom. I didn’t have breakfast but there was a hearty buffet and also a lovely bar area too. Definitely will stay here again!

Staff was friendly, clean room and breakfast was worth the extra cost. Although located in.a smalli country town it is only a minute walk to the train station.

The customer service was horrible. Definitely noticed the difference between treatment to English speakers verses German speakers by front desk lady. There was only one young man that helped us check in in the night that was friendly. When we initially called to say we were checking in late… the woman that answered the phone .. same as at the front desk at check out, told us we did not have a reservation. When we showed up anyway we did. We had requested the room with breakfast on line therefore went to the buffet . In front of everyone the attendant interupted our breakfast and insisted our rooms did not get breakfast. They charged us 20 eur. Each . They wanted us to stop eating an pay. Although on their own website same tbreakfast is included . At the end we needed to book a second night because if travel plan changes. At the counter they tried to charge us way more than on line with and would not include breakfast. We were told to go to a Germsn only website and book the extra night . Tried to get help from the lady at the front desk .. same one once again... Was told she will not help after she told us to go to the website. After she took up almost an hour of our time .and we paid the rooms off before check out time . She delayed our going upstairs to get our belongings.. she then ..charged us 10 EU more for not being downstairs again by 11pm. We are Airline crews and have stayed many places all over the world. Have never had to give a review like like this.
