Comfortable room, very helpful staff, great overnight stay.

We love the hotel, it was a Family trip first time in Switzerland, did ski 3 days and we took the bus and the train super easy. We also rented the ski gear close by like 10 minutes from the hotel. We had a blast.

arrived late. took care of us. gave us the family room. prepared an packed lunch for us all the next day to go to the mountains a great view from the room

We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the Gotthard tunnel which was beneficial especially when closed due to an accident. The restaurant was good with excellent steak and a local wine. Our room was basic but clean.

Where to centrally stay in the village with parking just behind hotel. Nice breakfast.

The hotel is in an excellent central location close to the William Tell square with its statue. It’s a lovely older property with a lot of character. For example the doors to the rooms are a little shorter than usual, invoking the feel of times past. It’s well maintained and clean. The breakfast is basic cereal etc. Nearby is the town square with several very good restaurants.

This hotel is very nice and quaint. The staff is wonderful and you get a family B&B feel. Breakfast is very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again, very very pleasant experience.

Swiss hospitality at its best. They gave us a free upgrade to a very nice room. Two excellent meals in friendly hotel restaurant. Convenient free parking. Central location to dining, shopping, church, walkable neighborhood. There was nothing we did not like about this hotel.

We arrived quite late in the evening and was given a room but with small windows and we booked a mountain view however the receptionist hardly spoke and understood English so we said we would speak to someone the next day. The lady we spoke to the next day couldn't be more helpful and we moved the room for the second night. We were very pleased with the hotel it was very clean and warm and the breakfast was lovely too. It is a very old building and there is a smell from the lift however we couldn't smell it from our room. There wasn't a lot to do around the area but it was a great stop off hotel. I would return just because of the service we were given.

Decent hotel that was clean. Spartan room and small bathroom and shower but with a good amount of parking.

Great location and English speaking staff. Only minus is no A/C, which is only occasionally necessary.

This hotel is very convenient for a stop en route south as it is close to the motorway. The restaurant is very good. The waitress deserves a special mention for giving us bottle of chef’s home made salad dressing!

Hotel in nice location overlooking River and close to rail station. Local charge per person per night of 1.95 euro entitles you to free bus and rail transport in the black forest area, a brilliant idea!!!

Would be excellent on all fronts but for a lack of a tea maker in the room and another chair. Nice comfortable bed and beautiful furniture. Would recommend. Thank you

Nice location. Room was clean. Old building and my room was beside elevator (not very soundproof). Great parking facility. Rooms are expensive in Altdorf. Nice staff and breakfast included.

The staff, the parking and the room were great. It has a good restaurant with a good menu very affordable (which is not easy in Switzerland). The town is small and calm.

A very pleasant stay and friendly helpful staff. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed for two days each week.
