Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells….

Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet. Recent renovations have restored the character of the building with a modern touch.

This sweet little boutique hotel within Old Town Valletta met our needs perfectly for three nights prior to boarding a cruise ship. They can arrange a shuttle from the airport for you so that door-to-door access is possible. Outstanding restaurant in-house (Risette). Great staff. We absolutely loved it.

Rand and Fiona were particularly fabulous, going above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. Their hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home, providing personalized recommendations and making every interaction memorable. Overall, while the hotel is a wonderful retreat, it’s the dedicated and caring staff that made our stay extraordinary. I highly recommend Casa Ellul for anyone looking to experience the best of Malta.

We stayed in suite #7 the roofs top patio was enchanting.

Excellent central location. Lots of bars, restaurants and sights nearby. Room small and basic (to be expected in a small boutique hotel) but clean and well maintained. Had balcony which was nice, and gave additional space. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

I travel solo and like to have some luxury when I travel. I also enjoy staying in the city centres and where possible and affordable I choose historic properties....if their walls could talk! Casa Ellul did not disappoint. Check in was quick and staff was very friendly and helpful especially Sladjana. I booked a room with a rooftop hot tub - what a treat to have after long days of sightseeing and walking the hilly streets! The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was divine with very personal attention provided by the servers. I appreciated the recommendation for a personal tour of Malta and Gozo - very qualified tour guide from Malta Holidays. And the transportation arrangements made to/from the airport was extremely helpful. And being right across from the Teatru Manoel during the Baroque Festival was beyond convenient. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Ellul.

Couldnt have been happier with our experience, from the welcoming reception we received, to the rooms and food, i cannot fault a single thing!! Team were always smilling and went out of there way to deliver quality hospitality! Will definitely consider coming back here again.
