The staff was so kind there was a mildew smell on the third floor right out of the elevator that lingered like a moldy smell for a few seconds when you go down the hallway to your room. We purchased two rooms and neither phone worked, but we did not need the service of the staff except during check-in and they were wonderful!
The area is good enough. It’s not a bad area. It’s less than 10 minutes from Cedar point, which is convenient. The area overall is nice and during the drive to Cedar point entrance you can see Lake Erie on both sides. It’s very pretty and the beautiful houses on the drive. Don’t forget Cedar Point at night is awesome to look at from a distance across the lake.
There are no views of cedar point from the hotel, nor are the views of the lake. If you want to upgrade to that luxury, you have to upgrade your hotel at Cedar Point.
Nice pool side area.. quiet in the morning a nice place to go have a cup of coffee and chill out in a nice way to wind the evening down after a day at Cedar Point.
No breakfast is served or continental breakfast offered.
For what it is, it’s very pricey, but of course that would happen with an amazing amusement park that owns the hotel as well.
Overall, it’s a great spot to lay your head. The rooms come with a mini fridge with a freezer in it, which helped us with traveling and storing frozen foods for our next hotel. Rooms also include a microwave and a coffee maker.
