It was the perfect place to have a staycation away from the kids

Great stay with the family. Large rooms, a kitchen at reasonable pricing.

The rooms were actually suites that were quite comfortable. We especially liked the large closet that enabled us to unpack fully. The biggest downside was that the resort has no restaurant during the winter, so you either have walk a couple of miles in the cold or Uber for meals.

Nice to have kitchen facilities. Well kept site. Quiet

Holiday was great and extra day if needed

Not exactly a resort in early winter. More like a big apartment complex. Restaurant was closed and very few people on the property. Buildings are old could use some updating, but the apartment (not a room or even a suite) was clean and included a full kitchen and living room. Good for people who want option of making meals in the room with plenty of space to relax between adventures. The wildlife refuge connected to the property was great for outdoor walking, even in the snow.

Wonderful location to walk Wander Lake, the Auto Museum and Creamer's Field. The "suite" was a small apartment. It was really comfortable for a week's stay.

Nice and quiet area.

The suites are dated but comfy; so-called queen bed more like a double or full size. Heat was difficult to control; radiator hot in living room but stone cold in bedroom. Curtains on sliding doors falling off rolling units. Needs some refurbishing, especially for the price paid,

Lots of room with a kitchen was nice. Close to everything but still secluded and quiet with hiking paths.

Warm and cozy

I liked that it was close to creamer field…a short walk to there and some hiking trails…the furniture was outdated…the mattress needed to be replaced. It wasn’t anything spectacular but i didn’t stay inside for long anyway. Definitely need a car to get around if staying at this condo.

Noce stay for nature enthusiasts.

Loved the room! It was clean and spacious. It had an odor when you walked in and also in your room. Overall, decent place to stay!

we stay here because of the easy access to the beautiful woods and trails. having use of a living room is fantastic. the bedroom is very small and cramped. seriously, there is about 1 foot of space between the beds. The kitchen is nice and well supplied. there is also a huge walking closet!

Mariko’s excellent customer service and Juanita’s patience were very valuable to us! Charlie while providing us a safe shuttle service, was helpful in giving us general informations about Fairbanks! Thomas was also kind and helpful by us tips about preparing ourselves for wintertime in Fairbanks.

The stay was great. Great for getting away from busy loud hotels

Such a wonderful experience, only sad that I didn't explore the sanctuary. Next trip will be a must.

The property is clean, but we have stayed there twice, and the mattresses are so bad that there is no hope of sleep there. It’s unfortunate because it would be a nice property otherwise.
