the room was super nice for a decent price the check out was a hassle. I used a debit card to prepay for the room and they demanded a security deposit as well. ok i gave them a $300 security deposit and now i am having troubles getting my deposit back, mainly because the man who checked us out didnt know his business

Clean accommodations, good restaurant and friendly staff.

Hard to keep clean in the Arctic thaw months. Beds were great, rooms were pkain and serviceable. A comfortable stay but very plain.

The beds were comfortable. The staff was so nice. But I did have to ask three times to get my body wash refilled in my room, and it never was.

The place was very clean, good size room and very comfortable beds. The food at their restaurant was excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and public area. Only a few things to pick. There's no place to load luggage at front door, and it could be messy when it rains or snows. There's no door with shower stall. Hard as I tried, water still splashed out. The space in front of the elevator is too narrow. People often got jammed up there.

The staff was awful at check-in. Downgraded accommodation without reaching out about our reservation. Not pet accommodating at all but will charge for pets because they are “pet friendly.” Room downgrade to a smaller room, yet charge the same rate for original accommodations. Our room was on the third floor, again not pet friendly. Hotel restaurant was a joke and they were rude. No amenities. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING!! This was an awful experience. Definitely not typical Best Western Standard by far!! Don’t stay here!

Comfortable hotel close to restaurants

1st room, tub was not clean at all, hair and dirt inside. Bed was made sloppy. They offered me another room. It was clean, and I was happy

I have been a loyal client with Best Western. The Gold Rush Inn, was so convenient, close to shopping and restaurants and also the Northern Tales office is just in the same building. Over-all it was a good stay but we notice that in the whole duration of our stay, we really was not able to have a good quality sleep because the floor above was squeking and the guests were making a very loud sound with their footsteps and there was one early morning where we heard the noise of the vacuum. I am not sure if the floors need some replacement or something. Thank you and will stay loyal to Best Western. Surely, when we are in Whitehorse in the future still would love to stay in your hotel.
