Very noisy not family friendly, booked two rooms but were not next to each other in order for them to be closer a cost of over hundred dollars was requested this appeared unreasonable.

Fabulous piece of history to stay in. Would be nice to have 2 chairs in the room and an updated tv for for those cold wet days when the pub itself is full.

This is such a cool place to stay. The rooms are basic with everything you need, comfy beds, warm and the decor has a nice country feel. You can eat at the iconic Cardrona hotel or toast marshmallows around the outdoor fire then wander back to your room. Great staff as well.

I cannot fault my stay here. Staff were just wonderful and even offered to help me with my bags upstairs. My room was comfortable with amazing views of the lake. Food was exceptional. My favourite part of the stay was sitting out on the lawn enjoying the view.

Having stopped here for lunch many times, I always wanted to stay as it looked so lovely! I was not disappointed. This place was just wonderful. From the room to the staff, food and grounds, I can not fault anything. The fireplace, inside and out was the best. The hot tub was relaxing as well.

The setting is amazing, both inside and outside. The hotel is iconic and it was a privilege to stay.

Such a fabulous place to stay with the lovely staff and fabulous history of the hotel. Very tastefully renovated, comfortable room with own bathroom. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant and a drink in the bar lounge by the fire. A soak in the hot tub before bed was divine. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back

What a neat place to stay. There was a great vibe in the bar with a mixture of locals and tourists. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. We love that they have kept the heritage of the buildings inside & out which adds to the atmosphere. We stayed in the Gemtle Annie room which made for a lovely overnight. Will be back!

Beautiful clean and wonderfully decorated hotel and gardens. Only one small complaint, no one was at check in desk whe we arrived so had to hunt someone down for check in.

Very clean and quiet. Great place to stay. The only problem was checkout. You had to checkout at the main bar. There was a que of about 20 people ordering food and also checking out. After waiting for 20 minutes there was still about 15 people in

Beautiful room with outlook over beer garden (gorgeous garden 💐). Very comfortable and clean.

Been on my bucket list to stay in this iconic beauty for years - only blemish on our stay was our over cooked blue cod, which is my own fault for not sending it back Look forward to returning
