Excellent stay

Marie was the host we spoke to the most, and she was a pleasure to work with. We loved the property and proximity to the beach. The place was just excellent, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Waipu Cove is a wonderful area with a great restaurant. The apt is clean, probably new updated, but we did not feel very welcomed. Lots of written guidelines but probably this is necessary with guests on tight ground

It was the first time I had used this accommodation, it suited all my needs, and I will be back in the future.

Very clean and well managed. Not cheap. But a very high standard of cleanliness and maintenance is obvious. A much higher standard than that which I have experienced at other properties of the same type in NZ. Two ring stove top, microwave, fridge and toaster. All plates, glasses, mugs, cooking items provided. Pool and barbecues on site. Walking distance to a beautiful beach and a restaurant / pub. 15 to 20 mins drive to supermarket, cafes, etc. Recomended. Especially for couples, (young or old).

Expensive, take children elsewhere, apartments IS NOT ON THE BEACH, it is not a resort, it is a MOTEL. Children are not allowed in the spa after 7pm, or no, 5pm, its ok for 7pm, oh no, sorry, its 5pm. ?? This was just one of many many issues. I am being kind not listing it here.

Set up with everything you may need for a break away. Super clean and tidy. So close to Cove cafe and gorgeous surf beach.

A very pleasant stay in a well-appointed double roomed unit. Very comfortable, with a pleasant exterior patio. Service from the resort manager top-rate. A fantastic place right next to the beach.

Great location, with only a short walk to the beach. We had a room that went straight out to the pool that was convenient for the kids. It was quiet here which was nice. The only down side was limited parking, we did have a parking space for our room but someone else parked there, although the staff did arrange for the car to be moved. There was not a lot of space to turn around a large vehicle.

We stayed in a two bedroom unit with two grandchildren aged 11 and 9. Excellent pool and spa pool. Well equipped kitchen with good sized fridge. Floor tiles throughout, were very slippery for children if they got wet (the tiles and the children!) Management gave us some old towels to put down on the floor...much appreciated. Very close to beach and Waipu Cove to Langs Beach Coastal walk. Would stay again.

Very clean, only problem was a faulty TV but the managers replaced it immediately. Unit would be better with a small coffee table. Heated pool & spa pool great.

Lovely

The parking is as tight as as any nightmare imaginable. Definitely had t worry about car being clipped by cars trying to exit The internet was as slow as the AOL disk up days, and it failed to connect to my girlfriend's iPhone. This never was able to fixed by the staff member. Worse, the hotel is located where trucks apply air brakes, so all night long there was the loud screech of truck air brakes being used.

Nice location, close to beach and amenities. Accommodation is nice and comfortable

Extremely clean and had everything we needed, staff were very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this property
