This was like staying with friends for a smart weekend in the country. Ann gave us a guided tour, and later showed me round her hi-tech greenhouse when I expressed an interest. The house and garden are fabulous, our room was huge and elegant with a big comfortable bed and a walk-in rainfall shower. There was a lounge room and patio we could use, where you could watch interesting bird species on the feeders. Breakfasts are performance art - Ann and Martin make a big thing of choices in every respect and tend to hover to ensure you have everything you want, so be prepared to be sociable! You need to drive to get to places, Lewes makes an enjoyable day out nearby and there are good pubs around.

Brilliant in every way.

A delightful B&B nestled in the West Sussex countryside. The hosts are warm and welcoming and their home is stunning. Easily on par with a 5 star hotel but with a personal touch. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fabulous. I simply can't find fault. Every help was given including ordering our taxi to Glyndebourne. The room was splendid. Breakfast was perfect. Would not go anywhere else.

This was simply the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The facility was very nice, the hosts were terrific, and the breakfasts were tremendous. I have both dietary and mobility issues, and Ann & Martin were able to take care of all of them, starting with a lovely room on the ground floor. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Rooms large and comfortable

Very comfortable, lovely hosts and a lovely house. It was very quiet and surrounded by woods, though very convenient for visiting Lewes and you can get a train nearby to Brighton. Highly recommended.

Exceptional B&B. Helpful hosts who seemed to have thought of absolutely everything. Delicious breakfasts. Woodland walks on the doorstep. First class.

Really nice stay and I can see why all review are so positive. Everything is immaculately clean and I felt very welcome. The area is beautiful with a lot of wildlife and options for lunch.

The hosts Ann and Martin couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Very comfortable bed and lovely modern fittings - highly recommended modern b&b ( with 2 gorgeous resident cats)

Ann & Martin are the perfect hosts. Large and supremely comfortable rooms, a warm welcome and delicious breakfast s make this the perfect place to stay while visiting Glyndebourne, Charleston and Ditchling.

This is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful property, upgraded to include modern and sophisticated fittings and fixtures. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and the proprietors are welcoming and hospitable. Food was marvelous. If you want to come to the Lewes area you would be foolish to stay anywhere else.

Great place to stay. Small hotel experience in B&B home with 3 rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of information about local things to do and superb breakfast.
