We flew from Canada for a 70th Birthday party here. Room was great, breakfast was delicious. Liam our Breakfast server was phenomenal!! He was an attentive and professional with a smile. The Trainee manager Ryan with the lovely hair was a pleasure, as were the two bar tenders Jamie and Nathan. We would not hesitate to book this place again.

The hotel was fantastic. Staff were beyond accommodating and extremely friendly.

Nice place - Parking ok but can be issue if arriving late. Overall Good and plenty places to eat if not at Hotel

Nice staff-rooms tend to be small but comfortable. Old style hotel in a nice town centre. Easy to find and get around.

We have stayed at the Red Lion several times. Room was clean service friendly.

Everything was ok.. bed wasn't very comfortable and it was very noisy. 10am check out is crazy too earliest I have ever come across.

Cracked floor tiles and sink in bathroom, dirty pillow on bed, very poor noise insulation between rooms. Staff were excellent and courteous

The room was freezing when we entered the room but soon warmed up when we closed the window and put the radiator on. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. Staff on reception especially Nathan was very helpful. I didn't like it that housekeeping was banging on the door at 9.40am when I was getting dressed. They should have waited till 10am when we would have vacated the hotel!

Only thing i could say needs improvement his the car park. Way to small and was difficult to park. Other than that great stay.

Stayed 1 night as at a party nearby. Could have done with a dressing table for when getting ready and one of the duvet covers ripped at the seam

Very nice place, parking a bit small

I use this hotel regularly, basically its honest value for money, clean and the cooked beeakfast is good. Staff are helpful.
