I accidentally book for 1 person instead of 2 person. Front office asked me to pay jpy 3.000 per night for additional person for room only board type, I showed them that for staying on the same date, the differences between 1 and 2 person are jpy 2.000 per night and I asked if I can pay the same amount (early booking rates are cheaper around jpy 1.000 - 1.500 per night) the ladies at front office said to me that they can't give that rates because my reservation is booked way before where the rates are cheaper (thats why I showed you last minute rates so it's fair) and stated the rates are cheap and its the rules and they being nice to me by do so, I know hotel rules ok but what I ask if they understand what i'm saying, instead they lecture me back.. I'm coming from hotel background and have strong revenue management knowledge. I'm now working at the biggest company on hotel b2b distribution company so I know what I talked. To make things not too complicated, I didn't even mention on ota jpy 2.000 per night for 2 person, they still need to pay the commission to ota. When I ask them humbly with my request, they said I didn't understand what I talk about, honestly i'm travelling with my 11mo baby and wife, baby kept crying at lobby because we had such long journey from hokudate to save and comfort my baby I pay jpy 6.000 for 2 nights. Honestly, I happen to experience the same too on my hotel in hakodate and I pay jpy 1.200 per night including breakfast. I'm not trying to make situation hard, I want to pay. But this is ridiculous. Jpy 3.000 per night for room only, I feel used by the situation, being checked in late with baby crying. I think I mention way back by writing that this reservation is for 2 person and 1 baby via apps but I don't know if this being sent. 2 reservation and all in mess thanks traveloka and royal stay sapporo team
