Terrible experience. Less than 3 hours after booking I realised I could't afford this hotel. I stupidly thought that I'd be protected by a 48 hour cool off period. There's no such thing. I thought perhaps I could seek understanding from the hotel besides I'd booked a room only 3 hours earlier, the booking was more than 3 weeks away and I offered to pay a cancellation fee. The hotel flatly refused my first email and ignored any follow up.
I've since noted the terrible reviews that report the hotel has bed bugs, bad smells, broken furniture, unclean rooms, bad customer service, security issues, questionable positive revies and poor response to negativity (to name a few) so I'm glad I did not stay here.
As far as I'm concerned this hotel stole my money. But thankyou for teaching me that just because a hotel can be understanding and provide good customer service they dont have to and just won't. A hard lesson but I'll be more cautious in future.
