Had a great stay at the Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel recently. It’s a really convenient base if you’re visiting the North West – just off the motorway, with plenty of parking and easy to find. The rooms are clean and comfortable, especially for a three-star hotel, and everything was kept to a high standard throughout my four-night stay. There were a few minor hiccups – I’d booked a king bed but, like many hotels, it was two singles joined together. Normally this comes with a topper to smooth out the join, but unfortunately not this time, and the mattress felt like it had seen better days. That said, it still did the job. There wasn’t an ironing board in the room, but one was quickly sorted by the helpful cleaning staff. Worth noting that the slip road off the motorway is full of potholes – not the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was very positive, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Very clean comfortable room and lovely breakfast

Comfy quiet room, restaurant staff were lovely and service was quick. Breakfast was great and all in all a very stress free overnight stay.

Lovely hotel , lovely staff, lovely food. Really enjoyed my over night stay here and reception staff both day and night were so friendly and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again

The staff were lovely, informative and very helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant and chose fish and chips. The fish was crispy and the chips were good quality. The room was large comfortable and clean

Easy to find, good car parking and friendly staff. Our double room was very dusty, and tired loooking, in need of a good spring clean and a lick of paint. We stayed 2 nights and had we known how small the bathroom was, we'd have gone for a suite. Two people cannot be in it at the same time. The bath towels were awful, old and rough but handy for exfoliating your skin! On the plus side it was a comfy bed and pillows with clean soft sheets. We ate at the restaurant, and had the garlic mushrooms and tart starters. Followed by salmon and tuna mains. All were tasty and would recommend them.

Another fantastic stay at the Lancashire manor. Came for the grand national. Lovely, clean and great staff.

Amazing staff..

Hotel is very nice, room was comfortable and basic. Lounge bar area was sparse and needs updating to give a more welcome feel like a pub rather than a waiting room.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling. Good shower! Breakfast was delicious and they even provided gluten free toast

Don't be put off by the fact that it's on an industrial estate! Excellent service, happy and efficient staff, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. The grounds outside have been cleverly landscaped to disguise what's beyond.

The hotel was lovely, staff very helpfull and friendly, the room was great we went for family 50th wedding anniversary will visit again

Great, comfy quiet place to stay whilst visiting family in liverpool, very reasonably priced. Breakfast extra 13 per head per day was absolutely delicious. Service was fab too.
