So, this is a Best Western, and accordingly my expectations were tempered before I arrived. On the plus side, the staff were outstanding throughout! On the rather more sizeable minus side.... The "suite" as described on the booking page is nothing of the sort. In fact I did question I was in the right room and was advised, "yes sir, that is our suite". No, that is a standard room with a 4 poster bed! Speaking of the bed. Sorry but the idea is to have a firmish mattress and softish pillows - not the other way round! That has to be the softest mattress I have ever slept on. Food is what you would expect. Not bad, but not memorable either. Overall. If you have the choice, pick somewhere else. I am sure there are better nearby. If you don't have the choice, don't pick the "suite". You will not be happy with the premium charged for what is little more than a standard room.

Fantastic breakfast, pleasant stay, staff were accommodating. Missing air conditioning the room was very warm, even with a fan.

Reception staff very welcoming and friendly and restaurant staff were also very nice and helpful.

Attended a wedding nearby and stayed at the Ivy Hill hotel. Very convenient and easy to get to. Room was very clean a little dated but had what we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food Thank you

My stay here was amazing. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful, the room was clean and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to everyone working there, you are all great. If I'm back this way again I'll definitely stay here.

Lovely quiet room, staff very friendly on check in and kindly changed my room for one with a bath for me to relax! Would stay here again with out any hesitation.

Didn’t get to stay, as had a sudden bereavement and contacted the hotel to see if I could cancel or rearrange, but they declined stating their policy is no refunds. So lost £144.00

Stayed here several times previously to attend an event held here. Hotel ok but overpriced for the standard. The room was not as good as previous stays - avoid Room 10, if the bathroom or wardrobe door is open when you enter the room you walk into these doors! Unbelievable that the hotel had run out of shower / bath gel for rooms as the order hadn't arrived! We were given more soap and shampoo to make up for this! The cooked breakfast was a bit too greasy (fried eggs were rubbery as been kept warm so long).

Super convenient location with a very comfortable size room.

Lovely hotel.Only negative thing is the rooms don’t have air conditioning.Otherwise i can’t fault it,very clean,staff are lovely plenty of parking second time I have stayed there before and I definately would stay there again.
