The staff were always helpful and cheerful, especially Clyde, Jordean and Tanesha. We would happily stay there again.

This hotel is not all-inclusive. Buffet is about 42 USD. Taxis are available at the hotel but may cost you between 40-50 USD dollar a trip. Fort Charlotte is close by. Marriott provides an easy walk to the beach and to the cable beach strip, wherein lies Junkanoo Beach. Easy walk to twin brothers and other small shops to buy mango smoothies, jelly-coconut, fast food, good cook food, and more. The people on the side of the road sell cheaper souvenirs than in shops like Twin Brothers. Try to eat at cheaper venues that still give a great taste of the Bahamas.

Major renovation need. The water was brown. One night, there weren't any running water.

Although I was on the 1st floor besides the pool, it was very quiet. The staff was friendly and very pleasant. I would’ve like to see some Bahamian food on their menu.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The beach is across the street and the fish fry (restaurants) and straw market (shops) are in walking distance.

The hotel requires significant improvements. My room had an unpleasant odor, so I had to ventilate it for several hours.

I stayed at the Courtyard from April 10-17, 2025. I had stayed there for a week previously in 2023. I had initially selected the Courtyard because of its close proximity to downtown Nassau, the fish fry, St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, and Junkanoo Beach. When I walked through the front door of the hotel, I was warmly greeted by Clyde, the concierge, who remembered me from my previous visit. His hospitality and communication skills are incredible assets for the hotel. To get to my room, I had to pass through the restaurant/bar area where I was enthusiastically greeted by hotel employees throughout the week. I remembered Jodean and Brittany from my previous visit, and they remembered me. This year, I also had the pleasure of meeting and conversing with Angelica and Jamico. Their people skills make a stay at the Courtyard a delightful experience. At the front desk, I also met Davitta and Michael, both of whom were gracious and welcoming. Davitta, in particular, assisted me when I returned to the hotel on my first night having just taken a bad fall off the 18" curb at the intersection of West Bay and Nassau Streets. She provided tender loving care to me when I was in shock and totally embarrassed at having fallen. Finally, I had a chance meeting outside the front door of the hotel with Terez Cleare-Alleyne, the HR Manager of the Courtyard. She, too, exuded the warmth and hospitality I have come to know in The Bahamas and at the Courtyard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Courtyard!

Food Orders in the Cafe takes too long. The pool area was being painted and we were given a poolside room, therefore, we could not enjoy the pool area at all!
