It was okay

Too many chairs in the lounge and bar with sides,not ideal for large people as we can't sit in them

Awesome place to live with all its history to know.

Very friendly evening staff, extremely helpfull, pleasant staff at breakfast, made my stay welcoming and enjoyable

We had a fantastic stay. Staff were lovely, food was lovely and our room was perfect. My only negative was the cleanliness - but this was mainly the attention to detail. We would stay again for sure. Thank you.

For the money paid for a 3 night stay it was a bargain! Great quiet location with nice green surroundings, red squirrels easy to spot. Convenient short walk into Sandown and nice large free car park. Yes the hotel is dated but it was clean, functional and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the short stay.

the rooms are not sound proof. even a tiny sneeze from next door felt like bombs dropping. The hotel is very dated. It is cheap so you get what you pay for.

Bit old but Decent property , comfortable beds and clean room, friendly staff and a good price .. overall had a decent experience , however yes cleanliness in general can be improved further

Overall pretty good considering the price you pay. Shower great and a comfortable room for the money. Though doors to the rooms don't shut easily meaning they need a slam, which when people are coming and going every hour slamming your doors you wake up 5 or 6 times in the night. Can also hear your neighbours TV, conversations and singing in the shower due to thin walls. Would be a great property with easy to close doors and some sound insulation between rooms.
