We expected a lot more unfortunately. The food quality is very basic. The alcoholic beverages were mostly local or basic. We did not buy the preferred option. The facilities are amazing and the scenery is beautiful. But, We have been in other hotels in Punta Cana for less money and with much better quality.

This resort was unbelievable!! The staff were extremely nice and nothing went wrong with anything. Food, drinks, weather, people were outstanding. You would have to be sick in the head to find anything wrong with this place 🤗😂 Pier (not spelling it correct) was awesome so was Danny.. they took care of us. Great people

As someone with years in upscale hospitality & now a construction business owner, I hold high expectations for a "5 Diamond Resort." While the property looks beautiful at first glance, it lacks the details & service you'd expect from a true luxury resort. Realistically, this is a 3–4 star hotel by U.S. standards, only rated higher because it's in the Dominican Republic. There’s no airport transportation provided. We were approached by a non-English-speaking man who pulled our bags off the carousel without asking and pressured us into following him to a van. He arranged a $35 ride & expected a tip afterward. It felt more like being cornered than helped—something a true 5-star resort would have prevented by offering complimentary pickup. We were "upgraded" due to overbooking, but the A/C didn’t work properly—it blew cold, humid air. The room felt damp; even the bed cover was sticky. They brought in a dehumidifier, which heated the room, so we had to run both it and the A/C nonstop. I emptied the tank every 3 hours. Both units were loud—around 65 decibels - hotel did not respond when we brought up this issue so instead of fighting with them, we just tried to enjoy our stay. Clean beach, great drinks. Italian restaurant @ resort was worse than olive garden. Steak house was like an airport version of an Outback Steakhouse. Hibachi was basic. Service + View . 5 star Food was nothing to brag about. 2 star Our room had poorly patched drywall in places. Wouldn't stay again..

Excellent stay. Can not wait to comeback. Relaxation is a beautiful setting with excellent service. Secrets is a winning formula.

This resort is a 10/10 in every way. Service is excellent any beyond expectation whether it be in the many restaurants, room, by the pool, beach, etc. The restaurants are top notch in food quality, preparation, selection, ambiance, service. The pool which was expansive throughout the property, was nice and warm, had beautiful ambiance, views, chairs, service. The beach, Junillo, was beautiful. Rooms were nice, clean, comfortable bed, quiet, with a large beautiful shower. I've traveled to many nice resorts throughout the Caribbean and this may actually be the best one so far. I'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend you do the same!!

It was an amazing experience for our honeymoon. We had one waiter that was very rude but other than that everyone was so nice and friendly. Service and amenities were great.

We wanted a kid-free vacation and got everything we hoped for and more. The service was excellent. So many kind and helpful people. Gerardo was a wonderful concierge and even left us an anniversary surprise in our room. Fernanda was the sweetest waitress at the beach and took great care of us. Jhonaly was a lovely hostess and Kevin was a charming waiter. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

Clean! No kids is amazing. Amazing service, someone always came by asking if we wanted food or drinks. It gets difficult to get a chair with an umbrella by the pool after 10 AM. The beach is really wide so your chair is a 20 yard walk from the water. The sea water is clear and warm but lots of sea grass floating around. The breakfast and lunch buffets are wonderful with lots of fresh foods and the grill on the beach was a great lunch options as well. The Mexican restaurant was great. The Asian restaurant was awful. The seafood restaurant was very average. Felt like it was all frozen food.

Secrets Cap Cana was amazing. Mom/daughter trip- 5 days . Overall: The entire resort was easy to get around, was kept in great shape, was very clean and the service was top notch! Everyone was so friendly and remembered you. Beach and Pool: The beach was large, very clean, the sand was soft and without garbage, the water was calm, shallow and without waves like in Punta Cana. There was ample amount of seating (both covered and uncovered) on the beach and in the pool. People weren’t having to get up early to stake out their spots. The moment you walked on beach, you were greeted with a friendly smile and impeccable service with 1-2 servers that laid out your towels (plentiful), brought bucket of ice water & served you all day. (Highly recommend Danny!). Don’t forget ample sun screen and raft! Buying it there is $$$. Food/Drinks: many restaurant offerings (varying in style and type), easy to get in and food was great (better than other Secrets we have been to). We drank the water (other than brushing teeth- used bottled) and ate whatever we wanted the entire time and had zero GI issues. Spa: amazing! Rooms: high floor tropical King suite. Perfect, clean, partial ocean views Concierge: Carlos- great! Even had room decorated and had a cake for my bday. Safety: we stayed at resort. Very safe. Airport transfer: great! Cons: small gift shop $$- toothbrush $8. Highly recommend Secrets CC. Bring cash don’t forget to tip!
