Staff did not provide us with a double bedroom instead of us paying for it, also they will literally charge you for everything minor. Hotel is located on the 3rd floor with no lift and a wooden staircase, not recommended for elderly.

Amber Hotel is adequate if you seek a bed, toilet and shower. Expect no frills. Good value in Mumbai. Culture, eateries and other retailers within esy walking distance. Decent coffee shop 4 minutes' walk away. Pizza Hut also recommended.

Excellent choice for a cheap place to stay within walking distance of gateway to india, museums, modern art galleries, sea walks, docks. Comfortable bed, good hot water shower, air con , tv .

I like how the property was convenient to access. The rooms weren’t that maintained well at least my room. I peeked into my neighbors room who were from USA and it seemed like their rooms were maintained well than mine (Indian). The Hotel was on third floor and no elevators so don’t bring that much luggage.

Good for a budget friendly, brief accommodation, with prompt servicing. The room condition could be better, but if you intend to stay only for the night (or few hrs of the day) it's alright.
