We had a wonderful stay over spring break. We had VIP access to all of the resorts through Expedia. This was great because the food at our part of the resort was not very good and was kind of overrun by children. Obviously, that’s to be expected when it’s a children, focused resort, But the buffet food also wasn’t good compared to the other buffets at the resorts on the property. The kids club is very much suited for younger children, and my eight-year-old wanted nothing to do with it. I would have stayed somewhere else, but I chose this location for the kids club. The other locations were more luxurious, the properties like the buildings, were better kept up. The pool was fabulous, the swim up bar was great, and the staff was top-notch. Unlike Mexico, not many of the staff spoke English, but it wasn’t hard to communicate. Except for peanut butter, which sounds nothing like peanut butter in Spanish. Lol. If we went back, we would not stay at this part of the resort, and I would say this resort is best if you have the VIP bracelet. It only gets you into the other restaurants, as far as I can tell, but that alone is worth it. All in all, it was a great spring break.
