A great base to stay if you're exploring the Abel Tasman. Really easy to book available excursions directly at reception which was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a standard qeen cabin which although small, was completely manageable for a couple of nights. Plenty of shared outside facilities which were well maintained by staff and looked after by other guests.

I actually tried to up-grade from "the Nest" - glamping to a cabin, but the staff said I should check it out as I might like it - I loved it.
It was so inviting, romantic, pretty fairy lights inside and out. Excellent bed. Everything needed for a campfire provided. So cozy. Amazing view of the Pacific and incredible night sky.

Dome tent was great, the amenities including firewood, marshmallows, hot water bottles and toiletries was a lovely touch.
Reception helpfully got me onto a water taxi last minute that was about to leave.

the location is good for someone like to do hiking because it is right next to the entrance of Abel Tasman National Park coast trail. It brought back my memory when I was 17 years old jointing the Youth Hostel and camping with my friends.

Friendly, helpful staff. Small cabin but adequate for our one night stay. Small number of toilets and showers for the number of people staying on the property.

We stayed in the domescape, it was about as nice of glamping as you can get. Nicer than a lot of hotel rooms 😂. Can't beat the location right by the start of the Abel Tasman trek. Everyone was incredibly friendly as well.

Great glamping experience. We stayed in one of their tents (The Castle) and it was very clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Can be a little warm in the summer. Facilities are very hostel like, but overall pretty clean and lots of space to relax. We wish we could have tried Scotty’s but it was closed both days we were there (Tues/Wed). Reasonable food options nearby, with one other restaurant within easy walking distance. Very easy access to Abel Tasman and they can arrange activities at the front office.
