Lovely spacious room which was clean and comfortable. Tasteful, themed decor with pleasant shower room providing soft and fluffy towels and toiletries. Lovely breskfast provided in the restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend for a stay in Chester due to perfect location by the river, yet close enough to the centre of the city.

We enjoyed our stay but felt that the cost was overpriced for the room we stayed in. Maybe because of the location the room price is high. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely

Unable to get tv in the room, staff came and failed. We did get a discount voucher for the restaurant, but still not really acceptable in this day and age.

The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, comfy duvet and pillows. Heating/air conditioning was easily adjusted to suit. Drinks tray was welcoming. Issues around maintenance : -Dark brown grouting within tiles over an area of 10 rows up from shower tray - Holder for ‘something’ was fixed to tiles with shower area. Suspect this could have been a dish of sorts to accommodate shower gel/hair products there - we had to lay these on floor - Perhaps I did not do sufficient homework on this property as we were taken aback to find the rooms fronting directly on car park. River views were restricted due to bar/restaurant building - Breakfast was generally good with hot dishes made to order. However the cold buffet table was poor with very limited fresh fruit, no bread rolls, cheese or meat. All staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent location next to river Dee and a ten-minute walk into Chester centre. Parking included. Lovely Grosvenor park at rear of hotel. Room basic but clean with hot shower and comfy bed. Included breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff were polite and pleasant. Lovely riverside walk.

The hotel is situated at the side of the river Dee. Behind the hotel is the lovely Grosvenor Park. There's a pleasant riverside walk with cafés, eateries and boat rides etc. Our room was basic and clean with a large double bed and hot shower. Breakfast and car parking included in the price (our car was parked about 10 feet away from our room window). The staff were friendly and helpful. Its about a ten minute walk into Chester city centre.
