The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps.

This was one of the best properties we have stayed at. The attention to detail was phenomenal. There was not one thing we wished could have been better. The view, the gardens, the comfort, the games, the beds - everything was set up with our comfort in mind. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The property was beautiful and we'll maintained. Checking in was simple and everyone was very friendly. I was blown away by how incredibly beautiful the room was, we were lucky to have the room withe a huge bathroom which includes a bath tub as well as a wonderful shower. The water pressure and temperature were fantastic. We took a walk I to town for a late lunch and a drink - it is very walkable going into town. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast before heading off to our next destination along the garden route. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I hope that we will be back again one day.

We can’t get enough of Woodlands. Second time here and we fell in love with the place even more - despite it raining the entire time! Fantastic place. We can take our dog Ollie and feel so relaxed, what a gem.

We stayed in the Comfort Cabin for one night. It is beautifully decorated with designer furniture. It was super clean and bright. The kitchen was well equiped and you will not be able to beat the price.

The property was very well presented with the furniture and fixings being made and completed by the owners. There were very personal touches which enhanced the experience. The property was situated in the forest which gave a fantastic view of the stars at night. I would highly recommend this property. Excellent value for the price

The Woodlands is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Julie is very easy to work with. I was with a friend on this trip, but often I am a solo traveler. I feel like it is a safe place to stay if you are alone. It also has good wifi.

Well maintained in a rustic setting. Excellent kitchen and well equipped. Large balcony overlooking garden and trees Lovely room overall and nice wet room. WiFi and TV was poor and disappointed with the bbq as it was dirty and no charcoal or lighters provided. No shampoo or shower gel provided.

Woodlands is a beautiful place. Very private and also a great outlook over the bush.

We went for 6 nights for our anniversary....and even got a bottle of Champagne.Amazing Stay in the forest.....best bed we've ever slept on. Perfectly located close to Knysna.

A bit out of town but really worth it. Really beautiful surroundings and the accommodation is really excellent.

My wife, 2 year old son and I had an amazing stay at Woodlands! The accommodation is luxury (better than the pics on the website). The view from the deck especially at sunset is magical and makes for the best braai/bbq! Great place for a toddler with the chickens, child-friendly dog and playground. Hosts were very helpful and respectful The place is a fair drive from the city so if you don't mind the drive then a wonderful alternative to staying in the main town.

Excellent. Clean and tidy. Good decoration and view. Individual BBQ in the balcony. Sophisticated electrical appliances. Good for a family or a couple.

This was a wonderful stay. They have renovated an old school into modern, serene apartments that overlook an incredible valley. The property is a beautifully designed with playground for children, little walkways that lead to rock games or benches, and an amazing long trail leading down to the stream. Close by are all kinds of farm shop/restaurants but it's low key tourism. Felt like northern California to us. We loved the apartments and felt so relaxed and refreshed. Internet was great too.

Fabulous studio with high quality fittings and furnishings... beautiful decor. Bi folding doors opening on to a wooden decking, with seating, and with views of forest. So tranquil, so tasteful. So much thought has gone into this enterprise. Needless to say, we loved it !

We stayed two nights at Woodlands which gave us time to explore the local area We were made very welcome by friendly but unobtrusive hosts the gardens were lovely the woodland view was wonderful the room was modern with great attention to detail we were very comfortable here Definitely recommend

This is the best cottage we have stayed in for a very long time everything about it was 100% one regret we were only able to stay one night we are planning to return March next year for a week or more great place
