This hotel is considered small enough but very comfy. The receptions are welcoming you 24/7. I had some night events and went back to Hotel around almost 1-2 AM and they still greet me nicely. The room itself is tidy, but some dusty spots still found but not a big problem. The hotel have a small fridge and Microwave, good if you brought back some foods but can't eat it and prefer save it for breakfast or tomorrow lunch. They also have coin laundry which is very helpful for solo traveler who don't want to pack much shirts (and not even using plane 's baggage, cabin only guy). The hotel 's location is very strategic, just under 5 minutes walk to Nagahoribashi Osaka Metro station (it 's located beside the hotel), around 5 minutes walk to Shinsaibashi shopping center, 10-15 minutes walk to Dotonbori and Namba (or 1 station away). Going to Umeda area just need to past 4 stations, going to Osaka castle only transit once, and the best of all, it was surrounded by restaurants (some of them 24 hours like Yoshinoya). They also provide free coffee, which tastes okay for me, and provide draft beer for a price. You can even ask for chopsticks for free if you forgot to ask for chopsticks from konbini (7-Eleven) or other places and want to eat by yourself in your room. But because the hotel is small and don't have fancy features such as pool or other things, it might not suitable for you who stays more than 5 days. But for short sightseeing or even only transit in Osaka, I could recommend you this hotel. There are some other Sarasa Hotel locations tho, like Shin-Umeda or Namba if you prefer other locations than Nagahoribashi/Shinsaibashi.
