Amazing hotel excellent location

I hate leaving a terrible review. This is someone’s business and it is a place of work. But this was a completely unacceptable experience. I stay in many hotels for work and pleasure each year (lucky me) and I’d like to think I’m flexible and reasonable and don’t expect the sun, moon and stars. But I do expect a room with air I can breathe. Yes, the hotel was clean, yes, reception was efficient, and yes, the bed was comfortable and the room well stocked. But despite being in a ‘superior’ room it was the single worst hotel experience I have had in twenty years. It was only 15 or 16 degrees outside, yet our on the top floor was an oven. The window opened only two inches and the thermostat told me it was 30 degrees. There was a fan provided - but sleeping with a booming fan might make sense in Singapore, but not in Wales. Eventually sleep happening around 5am but it was fitful. The room we were in is simply not fit for use. And yes, I asked for a change around 1am and none was available - and I would happily have walked a long distance to stay somewhere else, but by then I couldn’t book a new room online. The reviews suggest that there may be many nice rooms in the hotel but not all - plus Hotels.com inaccurately list this as a 4* when in fact it is a 3*. Deeply annoyed by a stressful night. Avoid.

A lovely hotel with exceptional views of Llandudno! Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent cooked breakfast with all the extras. Will definitely return. Only downside is lack of parking. But there is a public car park in walkable distance (say ten min or less).

Room was clean. Good was okay. Staff appeared inconvenienced. Neighborhood was unfriendly and not very accommodating.

This property had so many thoughtful touches Ample drinks, tea, coffee, take away cup to bring a drink with you. I have eaten all over the world I was in a rush and coukd not gorge myself on yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries but the cooked breakfast was sublime. Everything cooked to perfection. Morning staff who would put a smile on anyone. Thank you Belmont You are my hotel in Llandudno from here on in. Just beautiful

Brilliant stay at the Belmont, everything we required at hand. Maybe a bit more of a choice of drink at the bar ? Facilities were all excellent and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again , top notch Phil

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time. It was spotless really comfortable we had a massive bed and the view from our window was fantastic. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a fan and binoculars. The bathroom had shower gel,shampoo,conditioner ,soap,hand and body lotion and flannels. They have continental breakfast or freshesly cooked breakfast. The staff Hayley, Callum.and Chris were very friendly and helpful thank you. We can't wait yo ho back.

It was good

Everything was great during my stay—clean room, comfortable bed. The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room, which would’ve been helpful. Otherwise, a very pleasant experience!

Location near the pier was great . No parking nearby . No food in evening . No sea view . No air con . Windows not open enough . Noise at night as served drinks but not meals . Supposed to be a hotel but it wasn’t really .

First stay here, and we will definitely back. Gorgeous hotel, and we loved our room with a balcony, overlooking the Promenade. It was a perfect stay. Lovely clean, well equipped room. Never turned the TV on (who needs to, with that view), so cant comment on that. All the staff we encountered were all lovely. 5 stars 🌟

The hotel was clean and comfortable in a great location right opposite the pier. I stayed in a single room which was at the back with a view of the Great Orme. The room was quite small, but it had everything you could possibly need, slippers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, iron and ironing board, a fan, etc, etc. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, and all staff were friendly. The room had an en-suite bathroom with a bath and toiletries, which were nice quality, but personally I didn’t like the smell. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back.

Excellent stay, will definitely go back, sea view room was great. Also the staff were very considerate and friendly to us and our dog.

An amazing hotel, brilliant room, breakfast was amazing, my wifes 50th birthday was amazing thanks to the belmont hotel. Salmon and cream cheese bagel to die for. 👍
