When I arrived I was told I would have to wait in reception whilst the receptionist visited my room, most unusual. On day one I advised reception that my TV was not working, someone was despatched to my room to rectify the problem, they were unable to do so. I was told that I could not have a room change, however I was told that my TV would be replaced the next day. The hotel failed to change my TV. I was however supported very well by Tamnit Gill who kindly moved me to a new room.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but could maybe updated a bit.

I had a room close to what sounded like the heating system, as I could hear the burner starting up / running, I guess that I just drew the short straw. But it was only a low level soun so didn't wake me up. The entrance hall and stairwell looked in need of repainting and the mat at the entrance looked very worn. But actually it was quite comfortable and the breakfast offering was quite varied. So once you got past the first impressions it was quite comfortable. It is also only a short walk from a station on the line from the airport to the city centre .

Well it was as i expected but location was good for city and airport.Helsinki is expensive and this hotel is expensive for what it is.Good breakfast friendly staff.tv was not working safe deposit box key pad broken hotel gave us a master key so that was ok. Sauna only open in the morning pool useless. .

It was abit suureal, as the hotel had ni lights on when I arrived (technical reasons with wires---it happens!), so check in was with flashlights and there was not much to doi in te room without any light...but they were polite, breakfast was quite okey. Parking nearby---not too much space available.

We arrived after midnight. Doors were locked. Waited for 15 mins in -6 degrees for the security to arrive and open the door. It's a good hotel but make sure that you ring the hotel in advance if you are checking in late.

The property was located in a quiet neighborhood, and the tram to the city center was right across the street. It was very convenient.

The property is next to all the great public transportation in Helsinki. The train is a 5 minute walk up the hill. Tram #1 comes right in front of the hotel. Several buses come right next to it. The hotel has a daily buffet breakfast. The building is very old “Soviet block” style. It is a budget hotel for sure. Accommodations are simple.

We stayed at the manor house next to the spa. Very quiet and quaint. Large room and comfortable bed.

Old traditional Hotel, which I personally like

Basic student quarters like room: but nicely quiet (overlooks tramlines - but they stop at 6pm) + a park (of course): Good sauna facility though (especially men's wooden bench design) - so do take op to use as only available in morning + nice to have an adjacent swim pool - which you must use to get the trompe l'oeil pic experience they use in the - in effect, false! - come on pic for the hotel (at side here) i.e. that's' NOT the 'VIEW' you get from the hotel, anywhere!

room service was so kind to pick up and hang the towels ready to use which I had (obviously) mistakenly dropped on the floor.

I disliked smell of sigarettes in our family room with a child. The breakfast was very good

Peaceful place in beautiful neigborhood. A little bit old fashioned interior, but still A good place to spend A night. Friendly staff.
