This hotel is an absolute gem! Walking distance to the First District and main attractions is really great! The room I was in was really beautiful and everything was super clean! I highly recommend it!

Rathaus Wein & Design is wine themed, so all the rooms are individually decorated, related to a specific wine grower. It is also possible to have a small wine tasting there. Our wine tasting was great, with a friendly and engaging member of staff. All the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Gloria was absolutely amazing, exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Great room, great size and cleaned. There was a little bit of noise stomping on the floor above us. I would stay again. Cost benefit is excellent.

We spent 4 nights and had a fabulous time. Cannot fault the hotel. The location was perfect for the trams and the U. We bought a 72hr travel pass which was wonderful value. The hotel is a short walk to the Parliament and museums. There are lots of great cafes and restaurant nearby which are not touristy. We would definitely return.

The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had as any hotel ever. Truly awesome. The room was also large and super nice. I cannot believe it was available at a reasonable price for my stay in Vienna.

Great room,shower and bed. Location is in a quiet, street not far from many sites although you will need close public transit to ge to many sites. Size of room is fantastic and rainfall shower really great after long flight.

An old building with high ceilings in a quiet central location, wonderful courtyard area (that can also be used for al fresco breakfasts), excellent breakfast and the wine bar which serves good wines (vouchers were available in lieu of room cleaning). In the summer aircon brought room temperature down to 23-24C.

We stayed in the penthouse with a deck and it was beautifully decorated. The room was roomy and very comfortable. Very friendly staff.

If you like wine ads all over your room, cheesy “wine makes me sexy” decor, you/me stickers on your bed, no coffee maker in the room, stained walls/furniture, a single bottle of water to share for two and difficult hotel parking for $300 a night then this is the hotel for you.

Just spent 8 days at the Rathaus Wine and Design. Sad to leave as it was starting to feel like home. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel is situated close to the inner city but back on a quiet street. Lots of great restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
