The room was generally clean but it had an old smoker smell that was overwhelming when first entering the room. Turning the air on helped but didn't completely take it out. For the price you cannot beat this Motel 6. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you are traveling through and looking for an affordable room, this is it!

I like that the room was clean and I didn’t that the air conditioner wasn’t working that good

We always stay here on our way to Fl. Hardwood floors instead of nasty carpet. Always clean. Park right in front of yiur door. Microwave n fridge. Cold air. We eat at DUKE's Buffet BBQ in town every visit.

3/5 – Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, and Pet-Friendly, but Needs Some Work. Pros: 1. The location is convenient and easy to access from the highway. 2. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful—check-in was smooth and quick. 3. The room, including the bedsheets and bathroom, was impressively clean. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. 4. Very pet-friendly, and best of all—pets stay free, which is a huge plus for travelers with animals. 5. The room had a microwave and mini-fridge. Cons: 1. The mattresses are very low quality—you can feel the springs and hear creaking every time you move. Definitely not ideal for a restful night. 2. Room 116 specifically: the door frame is in terrible condition. There was a noticeable gap around the door, and we could see light through it while lying in bed—even when it was locked. It didn’t feel secure. 3. The vending machines were poorly maintained. Only five snack options, and two of them had chips lying on their sides like someone had tried shaking the machine to get a freebie. 4. Very limited food options near this exit. If you're arriving late, be aware—everything but McDonald’s closes by 10 p.m., and even McDonald’s is done by midnight. Bring food or plan ahead. Bottom line: Clean, pet-friendly, and welcoming, but the beds, security, and amenities leave room for improvement. Decent for a quick overnight while on the road.

This motel has been under new management for the past couple of years, but the service and value have remained good. No frills, but a great stopover on my way back from Florida.

Not much

I have stayed here many times on my trips from FL to Canada and back. Staff is friendly and area feels safe. Nice walking area for dogs with pet bags and trash can. Cracker Barrel is across the road (advise not using CB app, eat in plus then you can shop). There is a gas station next door.

We love this little family-owned motel. Our perfect half-way point between FL and our mountain home. Very clean, well kept. Great value, free pets, very nice management.
