Expensive but worth it if you are staying a single night. It's a good option when you have nearly a day/night between flights. The rooms are very clean and look like they were recently renovated, or maybe the place has been well maintained. Either way, it's top notch room quality and a great property even though it's small. This is after all just an airport hotel, a very nice one.
The only inconvenience is that you must take a shuttle bus to the hotel if you have checked baggage, as you need to leave the secure area. It's not possible to walk to the hotel from outside the airport. Although the MSP airport has an entrance to the hotel within the terminal, it's only accessible while you are in the secure area. What I find mind boggling is that you end up leaving the secure area anyway by entering the hotel no matter what. So I don't understand why they don't have a way to enter without having to take a shuttle. It's very odd. Even worse is you have to call for a shuttle. I'd expect the shuttle to make routine stops all day/night given the fact I mentioned earlier. This is certainly an area for improvement. They should make it easier for people with checked luggage to get to the place.
