Loved the courtyard area. Huge room with a wooden vaulted ceiling in local style. Traditional breakfast served at your table (no choice but plenty of food - bread, cheese, ham, fresh fruit platter, avocado or soft cheese, tomatoes, yoghurt with granola, and cake. Choice of fried or scrambled egg). Recommend the tasting menu. Great for meat/seafood eaters, not so great for vegetarians although they did adapt the menu for me. Only downsides - no bar/lounge area to sit in of an evening as it was too cold to sit out in the courtyard. Staff did not really smile.

Lovely hotel in Teguise, We stayed in room 6 which is a very good size, and has two balconies. One overlooks the inner courtyard and the other (at the front of the hotel) has a westerly view... great for watching the sun set over the volcanoes with a sun-downer! The hotel has a very relaxed and laid-back feel, with friendly staff. Fabulous continental breakfast, and a very good restaurant too. We would definitely return.

This boutique Hotel ticks all the boxes for us. Teguise is a beautiful village with lots of fabulous shops and restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is really lovely with fabulous food and caring attentive staff. Thank you so much for another wonderful stay!

The hotel occupies a 17th century historical building, atmospheric, quiet and pleasant. Very friendly reception and service. Breakfast is excellent. The wi-fi, on the other hand, is the worst we have encountered in Europe in a while.

Central hotel, great breakfast, welcoming staff. Avoid the restaurant, it’s overpriced and has inexperienced staff.

What a gorgeous hotel in our favorite town on the island! The owner was a lovely woman as well, very courteous and welcoming. Such a wonderful stay with my partner for our first time here — we loved the room and the breakfast in the morning! Highly recommend a stay here if you want surrenity and quiet, away from the resorts. Will return when we visit Lanzarote again. :)

Situated in a listed historic building, this hotel boasts with charm. Each of the apartments that are grouped around the beautiful courtyard has been refurbished with style and decorated in a distinctive and tasteful manner. As we happened to be the last guests in the week of the Corona lockdown, Sonsoles gave us a tour, so that we could get an impression of all the apartments. It will be hard to decide which we should take the next time. Apart from the beauty of the building and its perfect location close to the historic centre of Teguise, Palacio Ico offers all amenities of a luxury hotel, notably a breakfast that you should not miss. The restaurant is open to the public and offers local specialties and a long list of Lanzarotean wines. During the Corona curfew, the dinner was the highlight of our day and we took the opportunity of trying almost all the delicious dishes on the menu. What makes the place stand out, however, are the people who run it and who did whatever the could to make our stay a delightful experience despite of the restrictions that came along with the curfew. Not only did they continue the breakfast and dinner service but also the organised a yoga class, a wine and cheese tasting event and a homemade lunch, which we could all enjoy in the sunny and wind covered patio. Thank you once again for all!
